Guatemalan food. So delicious! I definitely find it to be on the pricier side but the food is clearly made with tradition and love. We will happily go back. It exceeded all of my expectations.

The food is authentic and delicious. Everything is fresh, service is incredible. We first found this restaurant 3 years ago when we were in town for an extended period of time, order 6-7 times from here because it was so good. Fast forward 3 years and food is still amazing, when others are cutting corner this place remains true to its roots! Thank you to the team at El Chapin we will be back every time we are in town!!!

What an amazing experience! We ordered some appetizers and main dishes and they were delicious. Our server was exceptionally kind and the background music provided an authentic Guatemalan experience. I would recommend this wonderful restaurant to anyone looking for good food and an amazing atmosphere.

It was a nice day so we sat outside at the tables located on the sidewalk. We found this was a little noisy with cars going by and being so close to the street. Our waiter was friendly and attentive. The taco chips and guacamole were good. I liked my main meal however it was not seasoned as I thought it would be. It was a generous portion of food.

El Chapin 2 is an authentic Central American experience. The food, the atmosphere and the very friendly service was amazing! I have travelled in Central and South America several times and this place makes me feel like I am right back there. The portions are really large too. We will be back!

Wow! First time trying Guatemalan food and we were immediately impressed. Everything was so good! I had a pork papusa (flat bread filled with melty cheese and pork) and the elote loco (corn with cheese and other toppings) and my husband had the beef kabobs. My toddler got the kids corn dog (2 corn dogs & fries). The kabobs were out of this world – perfectly cooked and so flavorful. The service was friendly and vibes were all good. Salsa bar was nice too! We’ll be back soon!

I was just driving by and saw this place had pupusas, so I had to stop! I got the cheese with loroco pupusa — a little different from the traditional Salvadoran style, but still really tasty. I also tried the beef chile relleno, which came with rice, beans, and salad. Super filling and full of flavor.
My family ordered taquitos and the chuleta al estilo chapín — they were happy with everything! The service was friendly too. Overall, a great spot. We’ll definitely be coming back.

I stopped by for a bite this evening and, as always, the churrasquito was exceptional. I kicked it off with a chicken tamal, and I accompanied my meal with a Modelo Negra. The food was delicious, and the prices are very reasonable. One of my favorite little hidden spots in Aberdeen.
