My wife and I have been wanting to try this place for a long time. Tonight was our anniversary and we gave it a try! VERY GOOD!
ATMOSPHERE: we loved the outdoor seating with durable quality tables and chairs, along with a sprawling bar and lovely lighting and plants .
SERVICE: Humble, soft spoken, concise, responsive, pleasurable.
DRINKS: Moscow Mule for my wife was PERFECT and the Long Island Iced Tea was as well.
COST: Overpriced by a small amount, perhaps $4-5 an entree, but still worth the experience.
FOOD: I think the boiled seafood was VERY GOOD!! I loved how they offered a linguine compliment to the seafood meat selection. Nice touch!
FOOD 2: The Teppanyaki is one of the best choices here. The scallops and shrimp were VERY GOOD. The steak that came with it, however, was chewy and not the best, but the seafood was delicious.
FOOD 3: Oysters were awesome! I absolutely loved the hot sauce that came as a side condiment. Such a nice taste with a kick!!! ️
Overall this place was VERY GOOD!!

They had different seasoning options and I went with the spicy garlic butter. My fiancé got the Beef Teppanyaki, it was tender and flavorful. The staff were very friendly and attentive.
Great little atmosphere they have going on. They also have happy hours during the week. We will definitely be back.
Boiling SOHO – Newington’s building is vintage cool, not many tables but great service. We shared a crunchy Cesar salad, garlic bread, and a sailor feast – fresh snow crab legs, mussels, crawfish, clams, shrimp, sausage, corn, potatoes and a boiled egg in garlic butter sauce. Delicious! Love this restaurant concept, and happy to have one close by. They also have a location in New Haven.

Details: It’s a Sunday night, my wife and I just left a wedding dresses shop and were very hungry. We’re arrived at Boiling SOHO at 8PM. We started with 6 Charcoal Blue Point Oysters, I suggest that you order Garlic Bread to eat with the sauce on the Oyster, it’s good. For the main entrée, we got a Combo C (with clams, shrimp head-on, crawfish, lobster tail); add in corn, pork sausage, garlic bread, white rice; and SOHO special sauce. The sauce here is not too spicy (Medium level), which is good. My wife can enjoy it. So we have tried Cajun Seafood at Hook and Reel, we think this place is better. Hook and Reel has their sauce a bit salty at the end, where Boiling SOHO has it just right. We will definitely come back when we want Cajun Seafood again.
