I went on an early Friday afternoon when it was pretty quiet inside and had a great conversation with the younger gentleman working in the front.
We talked about how this country is the land of immigrants and how it’s unfortunate that the newest groups are always the least understood and feared. I got to share how even Holdingford has two Catholic churches because years ago when the Polish and German immigrants arrived they despised each other so much that they couldn’t even attend the same church.
I welcome our Somali neighbors and am grateful for the delicious food they add to our “salad bowl” of an American culture. This is chicken and rice for takeout—10/10 delicious and I highly recommend! (I would’ve gotten a picture of the sambusa but it didn’t make it home with me—got eaten in the car, ha).

Food is so delicious and the staff was so friendly. They offer me soda or juice for free.
