I live near Umi and Wasabi so they’re my sushi spots by default but I decided to venture out a few blocks today and was pleasantly surprised. Delicious rolls, great quality and pleasant service. I will definitely return.

I come here atleast once a month to get their lunch special (3x rolls for $19) and their specialty rolls. They’ve provided quality and consistency with each order. Thank you for providing excellence.

The 4.7 fooled me into thinking it would good. I should have read some of the more recent reviews. We online ordered the lunch special, 2 rolls for $14. (Ends up being almost $20 with the service fee and mandatory $2 tip) I should have walked out when I walked in due to the fishy smell in the room. Got the rolls home and the spicy tuna roll was sour and very fishy tasting. Basically it tastes like it had been left out overnight. ( I will update if we get sick). The spicy salmon roll was ok but we couldn’t eat it after tasting the tuna. I took the package back to the restaurant with 3 pieces consumed. (Out of 16) They offered to make a new order, no thanks I’m already worried about the safety of eating here, but would not provide a refund. I would not risk eating here… Just get some grocery store sushi up the road at Safeway.

Ordered for pick up. Received absolutely butchered nigiri. Literally the slimiest and most disgusting looking fish I have ever seen from them. This was my third time here and I was so excited to find “my” sushi place in town. I’m now so turned off to them because of this…tuna? Hard to tell what it even is.

We had gone to the location in International District years ago but it was too far for us to frequent. Finally got to try the Queen Anne location and the sushi is still solid. The staff was very kind and attentive, and the sushi is very fresh. What’s great about their sushi rolls is the rice/nori/fish ratio. Some sushi restaurants use way too much rice and you end up feeling bloated after. The fish portions are also very generous.

We enjoyed our experience and will be back!

Was not expecting the amazing flavors of the food here. We started with a complimentary seared salmon salad, then order the lobster bake roll, calamari, and a couple other rolls to include some miso soup. Everything was flavorful and I can’t rant enough about how good the food is. Worth the walk to Sushi Queen Anne. We did ask for the key to use restrooms it was very clean.

We stopped into Sushi Ave Queen Anne for lunch after disembarking from our cruise, and it was the perfect choice! We ordered miso soup, a shrimp tempura roll, salmon avocado rolls, and the Alaska roll—everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The pricing was excellent for the quality, and the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. Great little spot with a warm vibe—definitely recommend if you’re in the area!

Affordable sushi that doesn’t skip on quality. Torch sushi box is a great way to have a variety. Loved the seared Salmon roll. They also have a really good iced peach tea which is nice on warmer days. There is a restroom for customers. Ordering online and picking up is simply. Parking is limited to street and paid lots.

What the heck is this? Two hairs on one sushi? I am so glad that I did not bite the whole thing and swallow it.

Just want to call it out, your sushi chef needs to know this.
