Where’s my thesaurus? I need more words other than incredible, amazing, fantastic, exemplary! My husband and I stopped here on a whim while waiting for a truck repair. We were the only patrons at the time because it was a weird time- too late for lunch, too early for dinner. The first impression hit big! The place was sparkling clean and beautifully designed. Our server, Sam, was without exaggeration, the best server I’ve had anywhere. She was friendly, really funny, and so personable. She made what was already a good experience, absolutely stellar. We gasped when the food came out. The pics don’t do it justice. Art on a plate, or as I said to Sam, those are some sexy plates of food! The fried plantains had a bit of carmelization so they were slightly crispy. The HOMEMADE corn tortillas were delectable, unlike any I’ve had before. I had the carne asada and my husband had a burrito. Everything was on point, just delicious and authentic. Don’t even get me started on the flan. We were determined to only eat half so we would have leftovers…. yeah, THAT didn’t happen. Left there with a major mood high. Absolutely phenomenal. Sam, if you’re reading this, thank you! And if you go to Providence Athenium, the library I told you about, be sure to check the drawers in the desks on the top floor!

Absolutely incredible. The chips and salsa, which come with refried beans is so tasty. So well seasoned. The tacos are so delicious. Authentic, full of flavors. Everything made is in-house. Truly a wonderful experience. Cent wait to comeback

Super delicious!!! My boyfriend and I are visiting from NYC and found this place along the way — everything was amazing. I had the chicken fajita omelette, and it was probably the best omelette I’ve ever had. My boyfriend had the Living Well breakfast platter, and he loved it. The service was fantastic — the waitresses were attentive and very friendly. Highly recommend, and I’ll definitely be back!

Visited for brunch! We had one of their specials; a Chorizo hash. It was great! All the spicy stuff was on the side: which was a good thing because it was so spicy but in a good way. They were able to make substitutions for us as well.
I definitely recommend their Mexican style breakfast. As for the standard American breakfast: it’s just okay. Kind of mild but would probably be good for kids and people who order from the American side at a Mexican place haha. The eggs were perfect though and I liked the potatoes!
For dinner:
We were fans of the Birria tacos! Nice large sized ones. The nachos were larger than we expected too! Perfect size (with the extra chips on the side, it was way easier to eat than usual nachos)
Loved the strawberry margaritas ; it was a little too sweet at first but once the ice melts a bit, they are perfect! I’m sure they would be amazing blended 🙂

We came late near closing and tried to speed out as fast as we could but ended up being a few minutes after their close. While they were still nice to us; it is obvious they don’t take tables that late usually – best to go about an hour before closing so you have time

We are long time supporters of Francesca’s on Pawtucket! Now having the option to eat the same food plus dinner options in their new East Providence location changed the game! Whether you are plant based pescatarian or a carnivore you will find some of the most delicious and affordable authentic Mexican food in RI! They also always have specials so be sure to try something new off the menu!

My boyfriend and I came here on a Thursday evening for dinner. Everything was amazing! We ordered the nachos with steak as an appetizer, and honestly, they were the best nachos we have ever had. All the ingredients were fresh, and there was just enough cheese. Our tacos we ordered tasted incredible. I am gluten-free and had so many options! Highly recommend!

The inside was clean, the wait staff was nice, but a little condescending when we asked about fruit drinks. Maybe it was a language barrier.
We requested water to start and they brought us water bottles, at $2 a bottle. While typical in some places in Europe and places without potable tap water, it was unusual for East Providence.
The food was bland, and uninteresting. The salsa was .. watery and bland. There was no house hot sauce.
Did I order the wrong thing? Perhaps, but it was what the waitress recommended as her favorite.
Since when did “authentic Mexican” food use Sysco mozzarella? There are several nice Mexican cheeses like queso fresco, chihuahua, or Oaxaca; but cheese in my breakfast burrito was skim mozzarella.
Maybe Monday for lunch is when the backup cook was working?
We will not be returning.

Had an incredibly welcoming experience! The moment we walked in we were greeted warmly and felt catered to with enthusiasm. Our server was kind and helpful in answering any questions we might’ve had. The food was authentic, delicious, and beautifully plated. Truly good homemade tastes. What a great experience, we will absolutely be back!
