“This is my favorite Mexican restaurant in Seattle,” said my eight-year-old daughter after eating lunch at this spot in Queen Anne. Dining with our small dog, we sat on the outdoor patio.
Service was efficient and very kind.
The food was good! The chips and salsa come up right away and are tasty. The wet burrito with shredded beef was tasty as was my daughter’s quesadillas and rice and beans.
The frozen regular margarita hit the spot!

We stopped by B&Z Family Mexican Restaurant on a Wednesday night and had an overall nice experience. The highlight was definitely the service, everyone was incredibly friendly and attentive, and we felt really well taken care of.
That said, the food didn’t taste super fresh, and our drinks were a bit disappointing—mostly mix and not very strong. For the price, we were hoping for a bit more flavor and value.
It’s a warm, welcoming spot with great staff, but the flavors just weren’t quite for us.

Met up with a friend at B&Z to explore the area and had a nice dinner. The menu is large, with certainly something for everyone. Our drinks were on the weaker side, but I definitely enjoyed the queso and salsa. Similarly the carnitas were criminally dry but the tortilla soup was phenomenal. Some highs and lows for sure – but would come back for more queso and soup if I was in the area.

The large spicy margarita was good as was the peach margarita. Probably the best thing here.
Standard free chips and salsa. Salsa had some good flavoring.
Went with sharing the combination plate, enchilada, golden taco, Chile relleno. Decent flavoring. Nothing outstanding nor bad. Just average.
If anything go for the margaritas during happy hour.

Went here mid week for dinner. I got the dos chimichanga 1 with beef and the other with chicken. I preferred the beef one and recommend that. My wife got the pollo diabla with steak which was also pretty good. We both took margaritas and overall this place is value for money.

Me and my sister found this place after looking for a home cooked meal. We went in around 9 and the service was great from the beginning. The space is cozy and has a fireplace and tvs and homey touches everywhere. We both had been craving ceviche but not just a tostadas worth. We asked and they brought us a whole plate and let us share with chips. so freaking good! the ceviche was so fresh and flavorful. She got the sopes which were house made which is not common if you go to most now a days. I’ll be taking my mother when she comes. I got the chile verde w rice and beans. We also ordered horchata. I take my horchata very seriously. I have never had a more creamy steeped with canela horchata ever. It’s a must have trust me. Our server which I think may have been the owner ❤️ said it was the house special. All of it was amazing and the price was great for two people dinner with all we ordered. They then gave us fried churros on the house which was so nice of them. lt is now my only recommendation for Mexican food in Seattle.

FiVE ⭐️ goes to the true meaning of giving tips – for the exceptional, honest, warm-hearted service!
Arriving just minutes before lunch was ending, the gentlemen told us we could order off the lunch menu even without asking.
The complementary nachos with dips came before we were ready to order.
The gentlemen was very warm, friendly and jolly…even when we didn’t order many dishes as it was a late lunch. No , change in attitude or level of attentiveness as you may see elsewhere.
We paid the bill at the front counter and were heading out when the gentlemen flagged us down to let us know we overpaid an extra $XX amount as the bills may have been stuck together.
And it’s with those types of kind-hearted souls we encounter every now and then that embraces us to do the same to others.
Let these honesty and warm-hearted actions be contagious.

Great menu, large portions, great service. Very casual place, clean, and welcoming. On a nice day the patio would be lovely. The margarita was so/so and pricey for what you get. The shrimp tostada was very good, lots of shrimp, fresh cilantro, avacado, and good flavor.

Truly the most bland, expensive food. The atmosphere was a combination of folding tables, bad garage sale finds, and an offensive number of varied (minimally-functioning) holiday lights in September. The staff was kind and understanding. The drinks were expensive in extreme and contained exactly no alcohol in spite of the price. Occasionally, when the music wasn’t interrupted by ads, the new order alert blared through the sound system throughout.
