Excellent customer service.
Hector was my server and he was friendly and welcoming. And attentive with his tables.
Quality of food was also excellent.
Food portions are huge and very tasty.
I also recommend the freshly squeezed orange juice. It is excellent.
I normally don’t give reviews too often but in this case it was mandatory because I was impressed by everything from customer service to the cleanliness of the restroom. Clean, great customer service, grear portions and quality of food. And also value. You get it here.

We visited on a Wednesday morning.( based on great reviews). We enjoy dining local owned establishments. The food was perfect & the portions and price were great. I had the steak breakfast.( steak, eggs, breakfast potatoes, honey grain toast and added a fresh fruit cup – which was excellent!!!).
The other meal was the Healthy Breakfast:
Eggs, steamed vegetables, wilted spinach, pumpernickel toast. We were offered complimentary fresh squeezed ( on site) orange juice- excellent!!! We both had lemon water with fresh brewed coffee and a dirty Chai coffee. We visited with Juan and he shared the story of the original establishment in this location and what they have created. Newly renovated, super clean, excellent local atmosphere. There is city street construction going on BUT DO NOT let this stop you from experiencing the awesome restaurant. One final comment: they have great bathrooms, clean, roomy, and all amenities: changing station for babies, huge mirrors for checking your self before exiting, clean sleek furnitures. Truly just really well done front to back. Weather you are a local or tourist this place is NOT to be missed.

Very welcoming, professional and friendly staff. We were seated and served promptly. The atmosphere was very homey and relaxing. Dimly lit towards the center and back. There’s so many delicious items to choose from on the menu. The food portions are very big and the food tastes so amazing. We could not finish the large portions,so we bought the rest home. Will definitely be going back!

A group of friends stopped by for breakfast in the first few days of opening. Understandably, the servers were still learning the ropes, but were very courteous and accommodating. They have a nice variety of American and Mexican dishes with large portions. We all enjoyed our meals. My Florentine eggs Benedict were delicious. They were happy to add fresh berries over my pancake, off menu. So happy to have this gem on this side of town!

The Perfect Coffee is one of the best and one of my favorite restaurants in the St. Paul area. The first time I ate there was several months ago with a friend and it was such a great experience, I’ve already gone back a handful of times and cannot recommend it enough.
The service is fantastic, the staff are friendly, kind, patient, helpful, and fast.
The food is absolutely delicious, fresh, and comes out pretty quickly after you put in your order. I especially love their fries, which are the perfect size and crispy. I also love their orange juice, which is freshly squeezed every time you order. Their burgers are just the right size, not too small, not too big, cooked just the way you like it and very filling. Their breakfast dishes are abundant and scrumptious. I’ve had their Florentine Benedict, Biscuits and gravy, and Eggs Benedict.
I ordered a latte once and had their regular coffee as well and both were so flavorful.
Pricing is also affordable.
Whether it’s meeting up with friends for a good meal or going for a bite while working by yourself, this is the place to go.
I’ll for sure go back again every chance I get.

This used to be The Coffee Cup but now is Perfect Coffee! The service is outstanding everyone pitches in to help get customers taken care of. The food is great and comes out hot – what a concept! The remodeling inside is very nice. Even with the construction nearby it’s worth the hassle to go to Perfect Coffee! Forgot to mention that they are also currently giving free samples of their fresh squeezed orange juice – not sure how long that will be offered but it is absolutely delicious
