I so wanted this to be good cuz I had heard a lot of good comments. Maybe I just picked the wrong night as the cook was the only one there; taking orders as well as cooking. The fish and fries were so salty I could not eat them. Literally. Nothing special about the cheeseburger , it was so loaded with lettuce and tomato I had to take half off. The grease definitely needed to be changed cuz all the food had that bad nasty grease taste. You could tell the guy was tired, he was so busy he had his little boy helping him. I understand what it’s like to get slammed like that but wasn’t good for reputation of restaurant.. he said he was helping the owner but that wasn’t really helping the owner cuz the guy had no help except his little boy. My son went once and told me his food was good. I’ll give it another try simply cuz it has a good review.

Food is really good (name of place is 31st phat burgers) very well seasoned. There is a wait as everything is cooked dresh but that is a big plus for me. I’ve been twice over the past 2 weeks. I would have given 5 stars HOWEVER the first time I ordered the phat burger with no tomato. Menu says it comes with mayo mustard pickles lettuce onion. All I got was onions.also didn’t realize the price was for burger only until after I ordered and paid then realized I needed to pay an addtl $2.19 to get fries and drinks with my burgers which makes them a little pricey. 2nd time I visited was today. Ordered 3 phat burgers no tomato. They ALL came with tomato lol I also ordered a large fry a la carte. The fries in the combos were larger than the LARGE fry I ordered separately. But again the burgers and fries are really good so of course I will go again… One of these visits the food will be perfect lol
