This place is very hard to get into. Always booked and very busy. The sauce is amazing. We’ve had their Lobster pasta special several times, Sea Bass and Rigatoni Pomodora. All dishes are wonderful. Super friendly servers. It’s a great choice if you’re in the mood for Italian food.

This is hands down the best Italian food I’ve had in New Jersey! The food was absolutely amazing, and I really appreciated that they had dietary options like gluten-free pasta available. I ordered the Penne all’Amatriciana, it was full of flavor. I also highly recommend starting with the Brussels sprouts appetizer, it was crispy and delicious! The staff was nice and welcoming. The only downside was that it was pretty hot inside the restaurant, but overall it was a great meal and I’ll definitely be coming back.

We love this place SO much going back tomorrow night. Took a cooking class with the owners late mom and learned how to.make gnocchi and Italian cheesecake. Advance reservations are a MUST and it’s BYOB.

This was a weird one. We were told that this place was impossible to get into during the summer, so being that it was winter, we had to try. It was underwhelming. I understand you’re a BYOB but the glassware was not great (think stemless wine/water glasses. Also, this is in a nice beach town). The restaurant was packed but even then the service was glacially slow (especially to get our food). As a part of our entrees you have the option of a house or Caesar salad for an up charge. The house salad was, I kid you not, lettuce. Just lettuce. No tomatoes, or onion, anything. The Caesar wasn’t much better. Romaine lettuce with 3 croutons. No cheese shaved on top. Nada. And that was an upcharge of $5. The entrees were exactly as expected- nothing extra, just a solid Italian dishes. Chicken parmigiana was two substantial pieces of chicken. The Chicken Riviera was good but only three shrimp on the dish. The veal champagne was covered in sauce and flavorful. The ricotta cheese gnocchi in meat sauce was a massive portion, but note – this is NOT a meat sauce. In any sense of the word.
This was a fine meal and extra points for being a BYOB but definitely not worth the hype.

How can an Italian restaurant charge $8 extra for pasta to accompany an OVER-sauced entree with veal and tiny shrimp ???
The salad was only lettuce…at least add a few tomatoes and cucumbers. The prosciutto appetizer was skimpy with dried mozzarella balls…again, add chopped sun-dried tomatoes or roasted peppers. Please take a moment and review your menu. With very little effort you can elevate several menu items.

Always a wonderful time. Always go with the specials. Veal parm or the “on the bone” are crowd pleasers. Rigatoni pomodoro was so unique and the whole table made sure to savor every bite! The Brussel sprouts are without a doubt the best thing to add to any meal choice. See you soon! Lauri is the best of the best

I’ve been here a few times, the food is always stellar. Service has been really solid too. The calamari is the best in stone harbor and comes in a huge serving, enough for 6. Meatballs are packed with flavor. Two great starters. The entrees are delicious and as expected. The only thing I’d say is odd, the salads with the entrees are tiny – couple leaves of lettuce. The upgrade to Caesar salad is $5 and not really worth it IMO. Small complaint on the salad, but other than that there is great atmosphere, food, and service. Restaurant is BYOB. Godere!

Wonderful experience. We will return! This place is BYOB. Pistachio Gelato was amazing! The lobster and shrimp special with homemade pasta was so good. My family enjoyed the veal parm and chicken marsala.

I had an absolutely wonderful experience at Luciano’s. From the moment I walked in, Joe was accommodating and friendly. He made us feel like we were having dinner at his home. The atmosphere was warm, inviting, and perfectly suited for both a casual night out and a special occasion. The staff was attentive without being overbearing, making sure every detail was taken care of.
The food was the real star of the evening—beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. Each dish felt thoughtfully prepared, with fresh ingredients that really stood out. Even the smaller details, like the appetizers and sides, were memorable.
And to finish, dessert was nothing short of heavenly. Their soufflés were truly delectable.
Overall, Luciano’s exceeded my expectations in every way. I left already planning my next visit and recommending it to friends. A true gem worth every bite!
Thank you to Joe and his staff.
