Hala Café never disappoints! I ordered the beef sausage, beef bacon, potatoes and onions, egg whites, grits, and toast, and everything was cooked to perfection. The beef sausage was juicy with just the right amount of spice, and the beef bacon had that perfect smoky crisp that melts in your mouth. The potatoes and onions were golden, flavorful, and seasoned beautifully.
The egg whites were fluffy and fresh — clearly made with care — and the grits were creamy, smooth, and comforting, just like good Southern cooking should be. The toast tied it all together with that nice buttery crunch.
Every bite tasted homemade, hearty, and full of love. If you’re looking for a breakfast that’s both wholesome and satisfying, this combo is a must-try!
I stopped by Halal Cafe for breakfast and was really impressed with the quality and flavor of everything I ordered. The beef sausages were perfectly seasoned — juicy and packed with flavor without being too salty. The beef bacon had a great smoky taste and a nice crisp to it, a delicious alternative to regular bacon.
The hash browns were golden and crunchy on the outside, soft inside — just how they should be. I also loved the egg whites, which were cooked light and fluffy, and paired perfectly with the toast that came warm and buttery.
Everything tasted fresh, well-prepared, and you can tell they use quality ingredients. It’s not easy finding a good halal breakfast spot, but Halal Cafe nailed it. Definitely coming back for another round soon!
bean pie some days. A rare treat.
Food was delicious, immaculate, and perfect! Best Black Owned Halal Restaurant I’ve been to!
