The food was very good. We enjoyed the bowls! The available salsa was at best average compared to other Surcheros. The tomatillo was watery. The service was quick and responsive the actual check out was just ok. Not so sure about the whole tip thing. I suppose that is everywhere now. I feel bad if for the workers if I don’t tip, yet I really feel it’s the owners job to pay the workers a living wage not the patrons. The atmosphere was a 3 star because the ceiling tiles were already missing and stained for some reason. Sad for a brand new store. I’ll try it again some time to see if is improved.

I sat at their pick up window for almost 10 min.My order was ready. I sat there waiting and now unfortunately my burritos are a really soggy.It wasnt busy at all.A half hearted “sorry” when I had to get out and drive around.Really sucks.And the “customized” burritos aren’t even marked.Also they forgot my damn sauces and the rice on the side

The food was so good!!! We were on vacation in St. Simon’s Island when we first tried it. The food is soooo tasty. It’s like Moe’s, but fresher. I always get steak nachos. The flavor of the steak is a perfect blend. They give you chips and MX cheese dip standard, no need to pay extra. They have a citusy orange flavored beverage with turmeric in it that is amazing. Total recommend. Wish they had more than one in FL.

Great Tex-Mex restaurant set up kind of like Subway where you walk down a staff member builds your item for you based on what you want. Great selection of vegetables compared to their competitors, guac is included in the price which is a nice bonus. You also get chips with your entree and there’s a salsa and hot sauce bar as well. I eat hear several times a week for lunch because it’s both a value and delicious

Pulled up their hours on Google and it said they were open until 9:00pm. Showed up at 8:45pm to get a to go order and they were still open. They stated they could not do an order due to the grills being off. We made the drive over due to the hours posted and I think those should be an accurate description of when you can go get food. If the grills are shut down at 8:30/45, etc. then that’s when the listed closing time should be.

I had a great experience at Surcheros! The staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive throughout my visit. The restaurant itself was spotless, everything from the floors to the counters was impressively clean. It made the whole dining experience feel even more enjoyable. Definitely recommend!

The food is so good and high quality. I love the fresh, homemade tomatillo salsa. Danika and Camille, who assisted me, are very wonderful, helpful young women. Angel Garcia is a wonderful leader as far as I can tell. 10/10 go eat there NOW

I’ve eaten at this restaurant in another town before and we loved it. This time not so much. Our portions were tiny and we ordered sauces on the side and they were completely missing and our quesadilla was sopping wet. Completely inedible. N the place smells really stinky
