Been here a couple times with my wife, the food has been amazing both times, best gator we have had in TN, nice cozy atmosphere, great service, owner takes the time to walk thru and check on customers. Definitely recommend to anyone who likes country cooking!

The waitress was very nice, attentive and super sweet and helpful! The food was amazing! We had catfish, gator tail, frog legs, and country fried steak sandwich. I’d pass on the sandwich again, but it wasn’t bad (just not my cup of tea). She made fresh coffee for us even!

Both visits have been over the top with food and service! Food is fresh & cooked to perfection. Every staff member has been friendly and very efficient. The cooks and/or owners even made sure their customers were satisfied! No wait time, even with a packed parking lot. Quiet & cozy! Love the decor and all of little Jesus found all through the restaurant. The Cabin has quickly and easily become our favorite restaurant in Cumberland County!

I’m a city of Chicago girl who moved south. The Cabin is SO local, it’s crazy. It’s like the music stopped when we walked in.
We were headed on a long road trip and found this place via google maps. It’s only 1.5 miles off 40 (2 min drive).
All of their fish can be served grilled, blackened or breaded and fried. We tried the gator appetizer. It’s breaded and fried. The breading is thin, crispy and flavorful.
For dinner I had grilled cod, green beans and a sweet potato. All were cooked perfectly. The cod was a nice thick cut and a good value.
Five Stars would definitely recommend. It’s not Alinea, but they are crushing it at what they do.

The food was very good and hot from the kitchen. Portions are huge. Service was fast and efficient. The owner comes around to each table to check on how everything is. Very personable and friendly.

If you are ever in Crossville this place is the place to stop and eat. The food is amazing and our waiter was great. He was very knowledgeable about the menu and explained each special with great detail! The owner came to check on us and she was such a sweet lady to talk to. She took the time to tell us about the area,local attractions etc…me and my husband enjoyed our conversations with her! She made us feel at home and before we left we were checked on again by the cook or possibly her husband another one of the owners. Excellent food and staff! We appreciate it and the the kindness showed to us during our visit for dinner! THANKS!

We get to The Cabin as much as we can and it never disappoints. Breakfast is amazing, lunch and dinner equally as awesome. The staff are always pleasant and friendly and ready to make your meal great.
