My husband I were touring the Lacresent, Hoka area for apples and wanted a nice ‘ fork’ meal, no sandwiches. We both had wonderful meals. My salmon was seared w tasty avocado sc that added lightly to the fish.
The brussel sprouts were done ‘dente w lite garlic. The salad bar was fresh and tasty. Actual deep green romaine and spinach, no white lettuce. Our server on Sat Nov8 really was efficient, pleasant and did all she could to add to our experience. Had the best mulled cucumber gin and tonic. Bought a gift certificate for a Christmas gift. Will return!

Small little Restaurant/Bar. It’s connected with an indoor walkway to the Best Western Plus hotel.
The restaurant isn’t big and was super busy at 5pm. The waitress said you need reservations on Friday but could seat us in 40-45 minutes or grab a seat at the bar. We got 2 seats at the bar and ordered a pint of beer! Tge bartender asked if we wanted food and handed us 2 menus.
My wife got the prime rib sandwich and I got the bacon burger. The food was great. The staff was awesome. The bartender keep check on everyone. The atmosphere was fun but not loud. The staff amazing and the food great! Both meals and a specialty draft and tax/tip out the door for $40!

Cool vibe! I check out microbreweries as I travel the Midwest. This is one of the best.
They have food. I ordered the naked ribeye and peppers, doubled the meat. Fantastic. Everyone was polite and provided a great experience. 10/10

This is a very nice place! The staff are all very friendly, the atmosphere is good, and the food is delicious! I had the broasted chicken and my wife had the chicken club sandwich. Both were excellent and served right off the grill… because they were hot! Plus, they have Spring Grove soda… a sweet, delicious, and local addition to our dinner!

Two times in the last two weeks we’ve had issues getting a waiter or waitress, first time I had to flag one down and beg her to be our waitress, tonight we sat for 10 minutes, waited another 10-15 minutes and left. Got a serious hosting stand and waitstaff problem, was one of our favorites, once a month, now it’ll be awhile before we try again

Sadly the food quality/standard is going downhill. I noticed a few weeks ago that the chicken strips had changed from the regular plump crispy tender ones to some bland this dry ones. Last week I took a friend there for lunch, she decided on the fish sandwich . It was sad. 1 piece of fish cut in two pieces in a hot dog bun! Not sure what’s going on there any more. On a good note the soup was excellent.

I live in La crescent and first time getting food here. Positive note the lady who took my order was nice. I originally was going to order online but they have door dash for pick up and it inflated the price so I called. I ordered the classic cheeseburger add Swiss and a side of ranch. Cheddar is not a good cheese for a cheeseburger, it was tasteless even with the added Swiss. The tomatoes were good tho and I like the red onion but no pickles were included. It shows on the picture but not in the description. The fries were not that good and they forgot my ranch. The meat itself was not bad but the burger would be greatly improved with some good American cheese. The price is decent so that was a plus but I only ate 1/2 my fries and 1/2 of the burger giving the rest to my dogs. Not bad but not great.

Friday evening fish fry with salad bar and appetizers for table of 10. Fish was excellent however for the same price in Northern Wisconsin it would have been all you can eat. Their Salad bar also had blue cheese dressing and blue cheese crumbles, my favorite and huge plus for the menu. Sour kraut with ham in white sauce soup was outstanding.
