I was at Middleton store and very disappointed with the quality of the Figaro candy. They were very gritty not smooth . We bought some last week for Valentine’s Day and the candy was also gritty.
Hope the chocolatier hasn’t lost his/ her expertise!

I was told they only accept the “new” style money with a blue stripe? Whatever that means. Just had to walk out without 96$ worth of valentines chocolates for wife and son. Ill just shop their competitors i guess. Here is a picture of the money they didn’t want lol

Randomly found this place while on my motorcycle ride. Good fudge with decent price! If you’re in the neighborhood definitely visit here.

My son stopped in there last Saturday to get fudge that his fiance requested for her birthday. He knew we would like it, so he picked up 3 lbs. of chocolate fudge-2 for them and 1 for us. Honestly, I haven’t purchased it for many years, because when I’ve picked up individually wrapped pieces in other locations they supply, I always thought it was just OK. It seemed not always as fresh as I would want, (not as creamy), and it also always seemed to taste like it had had a bit of salty taste to it. I preferred 2 other establishments for fudge and dark chocolate pecan turtles. I don’t know if Winfrey’s makes the turtles we like, but I’ll find out tomorrow when I plan on going by their store on Rt.1 in Rowley, MA. Now as for the fudge that my son brought to us last Sat. I was expecting the same as I had always sampled as mentioned above. A BIG FAT RETRACTION on an old opinion! It was absolutely delicious, (which is why I’m going back tomorrow!) It was creamy, probably because it was more recently made, since it’s was coming right from the source. Now the taste, and I had it many times in the past, and always thought it wasn’t quite as “chocolaty” as I wanted, but worse, I always tasted salt. Many recipes have a pinch of salt, but they’re making it on a larger scale, so I always thought that someone must be too heavy-handed on the salt and maybe it wasn’t added precisely with machinery. I really have no idea what the reason is, or how that make it, or may e even my taste buds have changed and they aren’t doing anything different! In any case, it is no longer an issue. I can truly say now that it’s delicious-I love it, and will be a regular customer! I hope they have dark chocolate pecan turtles too, like the other homemade candy establishments I have gone to in the past. I also wonder how often they make their fudge and is there a better day to go to get it the freshest? I’ll have to ask. So Winfrey’s, THANK YOU-You brought me back!

Ordered fudge online and showed up the next day! I got the assortment package of fudges and my family and I loved them! Penuche will always be my favorite, but the cranberry fudge one was a surprisingly awesome flavor! Love this place!

I love there chocolates. Moved to NH never could find a store that equals Winfrey’s. I ordered 2 lbs via phone. Lady that took my order was very pleasant and said she would ship them in the morning. A day later they arrived. Attached to the box was a hand written note. Great chocolate, great service can’t get any better than that.

The chocolate is delicious, although it’s a little expensive and the service is slow.

Fresh penuche was delicious, as was the saltwater taffy. Was surprised at how inexpensive it was compared to other candy stores. The staff was friendly and welcoming. It is fun to look around at all the different candy in the store which is very large. Worth a visit!
