I went to Babu Tikka Masala (Tikka Masala meaning little pieces of meat, usually in a generous portion of sauce) with a girlfriend last night for the third time. Each time, the food was exceptional. The menu is varied and extensive, but now that I’ve tried the Butter Chicken, I don’t know how I can venture into anything else because it is so incredible. Voluptuous comes to mind, a spicy liquid velvet sauce with tender pieces of chicken. The amount of meat is only perhaps 3 ounces, so if you’re expecting a large portion of meat, you will be disappointed. But oh, the balanced use of SPICES, I could dream about it. Servers (family members) ask for your preferred spice level, which I appreciate, and note that their hot Indian spicy level is kind of like a Mexican medium level spice – not too hot, but definitively a nice little kick. The long green basmati rice is perfection, and we love the naan. Babu Tikka Masala is family owned and one of the better experiences I have had a late in a restaurant. Atmosphere is modest and I prefer the outside cute patio to the inside more stark feel. The heaters outside work beautifully and we were very comfortable when the temperature dropped below 60. Cannot recommend enough.

I just finished my leftovers and felt absolutely compelled to leave a review. This place is delicious! I had the saag paneer and lamb curry, medium spicy with garlic naan. Eating this is similar to a long warm hug from your grandma. Pure comfort food. I’m so happy this place exists in little ‘ol Cottonwood. Additionally, the family who runs this place is so kind. I predict the little girl will be running the restaurant, and quite possibly the world in a year’s time. 10/10, highly recommend.

Had a fantastic meal with a group… This is REAL Indian home cooking, everything was so fresh and tasty, absolutely delicious. I can’t recommend the Tandoori wings enough. The owner is a fantastic guy, he introduced us to his family, they are all hard working and so proud to serve the cottonwood community. This is our second visit…the food is simply delicious. Authentic home-cooked Indian food the veg korma is amazing. The goat is to die for chicken tikka masala is absolutely delicious. The naan is homemade and I can’t say enough about this amazing restaurant, a beautiful family and a wonderful place to visit for real Indian food.

Local, authentic Indian cuisine that comes with love. This place is family owned and you can feel love they have through their service and their food. Their outdoor dining area is so cute with a fireplace and all for the winter months. The chicken tikka masala and garlic naan were awesome. I got mild and it was so flavorful with just a hint of spice, my friend got medium and there was definitely more of a kick but still super flavorful and not uncomfortably hot at all. Definitely a local gem.

The chicken tikka masala and the butter chicken, which both come with rice, were fantastic, as was the garlic naan. Lots of inside and outside seating.
The family who run the restaurant are very, very kind and eager to make sure you have a great dining experience.
All that was missing was some Indian beer options, but I would guess that this is because they may not have a license to serve alcohol and/or want to keep it as family-friendly as possible, which I could understand. Either way, not a problem at all.
Please give them a try and support local businesses like theirs!

We went for the first time on Christmas Eve after reading all the great reviews on line and we were not disappointed. The food is so delicious and perfectly cooked. I loved the Basmati rice and everything we ordered was so good. We will be going back. The family who owns and runs the restaurant is also very nice. I hope people keep going so they can stay open. This restaurant is such a great addition to our community.

I stopped here for the first time today and brought home chicken korma and garlic naan. It was so delicious. I am already thinking about my next visit there, and what I will order. Based on some of the reviews I think next up will be tandoori chicken or chicken tikka. If you like Indian food, this is the best kept secret in cottonwood! I highly recommend it
