This restaurant is the best. Nothing is better. Small place, Huge flavor. The quantity is great and the prices are even Greater. The new menu is amazing, adding poke bowls, new options for pasta, pulled pork/Mac n cheese bow amongst a whole plethora of other options. Chef David really puts a whole Lotta love into the food. Chef David comes out to greet customers, and check how everything is with a smile . Our server Kaylee is the best and I mean it. Never have I ever had another be on top of the job like her. Friendly face, great service and great knowledge on the menu. The inside of this place is great lighting is perfect and I’ve never seen the place messy at all. A fantastic environment.
I’ve never been a frequent flyer to any restaurant because of inconsistencies, this place has changed that. Great food and great service EVERY. SINGLE. TIME.
Thank you Kaylee and Chef David
I can’t wait for my next visit.

Food was ok..just not a fan of canned blueberries dumped on a waffle. Bacon not cooked all the way or the grits.
Biscuit was good and over medium eggs done correctly.

Just finished a great dinner at Sarah Js… we enjoyed the BLT and French Dip with fries… really satisfying!
Delicious bread, in Florida?!? No way… Yes!!! The French Dip bun was perfect, and the sourdough on BLT was great.
Our server (Kellie?) was great, and the chef came to ask how the food was. Great food and service, super easy location. If you need a “real” restaurant for your “Go To” list, add Sarah J’s. We are looking forward to our next visit. Cool option for paying check via QR code on check.

First time there on a Saturday for breakfast, party of 5. Got seated right away and drink orders were taken and bought to table. After that the server disappeared for 10 to 15 minutes before our order was taken, I even overheard a party of 2 seated near us complaining they asked for extra napkins that never showed. When orders were taken I requested my eggs on the side inside of on top of my chicken and sausage gravy. The food came out in a reasonable amount of time but my eggs were not on the side as requested. No problem, I just asked for a plate to put them on, well that never showed. It’s a cute place with a good menu but I’m not sure if I’ll return at this time.

My sister and I had an appointment scheduled for 2 PM so we stopped in at 12:30. Never been there before. We both decided on the open faced turkey and gravy sandwich on sourdough (or so it is advertised). She had the green beans with bacon as her side and I had fries. The turkey seems like some sort of deli meat and the gravy was certainly NOT turkey gravy, as it looked more like beef gravy from a packaged mix, EXTREMELY salty. Bread seemed more like regular toast than sourdough. Green beans seemed old, and again, salty. The fries were amazing. For $30 for 2 sandwiches and 2 iced teas, we’ll, you expect a little better quality of food. Won’t be back

We had a great visit the day before hurricane Milton arrived. Had little idea of what was good in the area, but were so happy we found Sarah J’s. We were in town evacuating from the Tampa area, and needed some soft of comfort food. Arrived a half hour or so late for breakfast, but they were awesome and let us order still. The pancakes were huge, and filled with chocolate chips. The caramel macchiato was served beautifully and was delicious too. They have a nice collection of cute mugs for the coffee creations. Highly recommended if you haven’t been, we were very pleasantly surprised.

Can’t say enough about this place… if i lived in Citrus Springs I would eat here A LOT!
The WINGS are worth it by them selves. Spaghetti is HUGE..
Salads are HUGE..
Bathrooms CLEAN..
And the staff and service were quick, smart, and personable.
Parking lot could use some work..that’s about it.

Horrible. Served the wrong food twice, and when I did get my meal, the bacon was like beef jerky, the potatoes looked as if they were deep fried and did not have onions as requested, and got whole wheat toast instead of rye that I ordered. just a bad experience for our first visit.
In their defense, they did try to correct although it was too late. Bad experience had already set in. Waitress said “things are hectic here this morning”
And I understand that but why should the customer be the one to suffer from poor restaurant management and staff that does not assure the food they are serving is what the customer ordered and is of standard quality.
If their standard quality is bacon that is as tough as beef jerky, then I do not need to experience anything more at this establishment
Will not return
