I’ve been there when it was other restaurant. They kept the same warm and inviting feel. As we walked in, we were greeted immediately. We were shown our seats and washer was supplied immediately. Our server was also our bartender and his drink suggestion was spot on. We ordered an appetizer of the calamari and it was delicious. The use of Nước chấm and peppers gave a complex taste that started our sweet and ended with some heat. Lunch was light with some soap and salad along with paan to top it off. It was a wonderful atmosphere to sit and catch up with a friend. It made for a relaxing lunch in a sunny and cold winter day.

– I ordered “Linguini alle Vongole” because I specifically wanted linguini pasta. They served spaghetti (see photo), and when I asked about the mistake, they said that was their version of linguini.
– We also ordered a Prosciutto + Pear pizza, and it came extremely burnt (see photo).
– The kids’ menu is very limited, and they charge $10 for buttered spaghetti (basically just boiled in water).
– Ambience: excellent.

Absolutely wonderful little spot! It’s nice having options in town that aren’t fast food, but aren’t as expensive as some of the other options.
The food was delicious, and the drinks very tasty. All of the staff we talked to were very friendly and helpful as well.
We had 3 people in our group, and everyone had a different dish; each was great. We had the pizza, the cheeseburger, and fish ‘n chips. Of the 3 the fish ‘n chips were a little on the heavy side, but still good.
Everyone also had a different desert, and everyone enjoyed theirs (I must say, I think the crème brûlée I had was the best one).
We will definitely be back.

We stayed at The Dundee Hotel and popped in to Wooden Heart for dinner after an afternoon of wine tasting. We were absolutely blown away by the food—it was top notch fine dining caliber. We ordered the Wood-Fired Carrots, the Calamari, The Forager, and the Peanut Butter Pie. Everything was gastronomical perfection, but the carrots stole the show!
Dinner was so good that we returned the next morning for breakfast, sharing the Eggs Benedict, which did not disappoint.
Wooden Heart runs circles around the best restaurants in Portland, with better prices, bigger portions, fantastic service, and great atmosphere. We will be making the trip to visit this little slice of culinary heaven often!

Wooden Heart catered our reception in July and could not have been happier. They were fantastic to work with, communicative, professional and fun! We really appreciated Yvette and Ryan (and their team) for making our day super special and for being so accommodating of the variety of dietary needs of our group. It was a relief that EVERYONE got to enjoy the incredible food. Every guest raved about the food and how cool the pizza trailer set up was. We HIGHLY recommend Wooden Heart!

We had their pizza at the Wine and Food Classic, and it went wonderfully with all the fantastic wines we had that night. Their crust is bubbly and soft with the right crunch and pull. Can’t go wrong with a good cheese pizza and theirs was good!
Edit: we just had the pleasure of taking part in their soft launch dinner. Again I am so glad we did! The menu was smaller for their soft launch but it was everything I hoped it would be. We had the pepperoni and sausage pizza along with their pasta. Both dishes were fantastic and flavorful. Our server Cate was lovely and friendly. The atmosphere and what they have done is stunning! Can’t wait to come back again and again!

I was so excited because their product is not only genuinely delicious, but I was thrilled to showcase a unique wedding meal with our family and friends. If I could rate 100 Stars I would. Taylor has served us numerous times and has been our bartender the times we get to go without our kiddos. I love the atmosphere, and Taylor’s hospitality customer service is amazing.
The food is INCREDIBLE. The pizza, the Calamari is a 10, and the Carrots app is a staple when we order. Also, don’t forget their green Goddess dressing. Everything is perfection and made and served with Love.
