I would give this place 10 stars if I could. I love finding little hole in the wall family owned and operated places like this! Service was great and friendly and the food was probably the best authentic Chinese food I’ve had in a long time. You get a big portion for the price, we have plenty of leftovers! We will definitely be returning! PS. get the egg rolls, they are delicious!

This is the best place in Redding,CA.
A hidden gem, if you will.
To start, the waitress (maybe owner) was extremely friendly and welcoming.
The food was absolutely incredible. After my husband and received our food, he looked impressed & said that this place is way better than Peter chus, by a long shot; and I can’t agree more.
The waitress checked on us frequently, she noticed my 2 year old had an owie on his finger brought him a bandaid and neosporin , gave him a cookie she had and even brought him more soup because he was asking for more.
I personally haven’t had Chinese food this good and I’ve tried many places including the Bay Area.
I would give this place 1000 stars for our entire experience. Support this local gem of a restaurant, they deserve it.

My sisters and I had lunch here recently and it was a wonderful meal. The portions were extremely generous and the food was fresh & delicious. The customer service was excellent and we all felt very comfortable and relaxed after a very hectic morning at the office. I highly recommend China Kitchen!

Let me start off with saying I haven’t had this place sense I moved away from redding in 2017, I’m visiting family and this was my first place I went to out to eat. It still taste just like I remember. I always get the combo #C, the egg foo young is very tasty, the rice is cooked great and the chow mein is just right, my daughter loves the crab puffs and I usually end up getting a second order just for her.
I felt really bad for the young lady who was working the counter, looked like shes been there 12 straight hours.. she had an amazing attitude for being short staffed all day and kept a smile which makes me glad they can still make amazing food, have a smile and have great service all while being under pressure. Props to all the current staff, they’ve been making great food sense I can remember. Try this place out! It might just be your new favorite spot!

My partner and I tried this restaurant today and are so happy we did! The person who took care of us was kind and attentive and chatted with us for a bit, the food was A++ and fairly priced. We were disappointed to see a gentleman come in to eat while loudly playing anti-Chinese/political YouTube videos on his phone. We weren’t able to check in with the person who helped us as she was helping another table but hope she and the rest of the team know we had a wonderful lunch and appreciate their business ❤️

Pearl Panda Westwood Village review.
We always like to support new restaurant. We got a menu in the mail. We ordered the egg rolls they were just ok crisp but a weird flavor. Generals Chicken was good but the Mongolian Beef was awful. The vegetable fried rice was also awful. Sadly will not return.
