we called in an order around 7pm and were told that it would take 20-30 minutes for it to be ready. after 30 minutes we go in and ask if it will be ready soon. the man making the sushi tells us 10-15 more minutes. after waiting 25 minutes at least, the order was finally ready. why would they not just tell us the actual wait time? the sushi was delicious at least!

Love this place! Great food at a great price! Sometimes the wait is a little long to get food because it’s usually the one guy working there but still worth it! My favorite is the Sashimi!

This has become my new favorite sushi place in okc! I think the quality of the fish is the best in the city. The dumplings taste homemade, the edamame is fresh. You can tell the person running this restaurant cares about the ingredients they’re using.

The person who makes the sushi makes it with his whole heart. The taste is incredible and the quality is so fresh!! The salmon specifically is sooo buttery. The amount that comes with the sushi is a lot too for the price you pay. I have been eating here since it opened and I can and will order here again! Creek is my number one spot for sushi! Not to mention that the chef is one of the kindest people I’ve ever met. I never leave reviews for anything but please consider trying this place!

Kind of a no-frills place. I got the creek poke bowl which was bland and meh. Couldve used more sauce, or something. In the pic I provided it has a lot of soy sauce on it to do something for it. Maybe even some sambal..some type of spice.. It was pretty plain Jane raw fish with a little bit of avocado small bits of leaves of something or another, on top of a bed of white rice which could have been stickier. Maybe I just got the wrong thing, but I asked him if that was his most popular bowl, and he said yes. The fish seem to be in decent quality…if only colder, and to be honest it tasted better whenever I got home and put my own spin on it with chilies and sauce without the lettuce after I rinsed the fish off of whatever sauce they had on it and the over used soy sauce, and tossed some zucchini around in a pan with sesame oil. To add to it after I took out the freezer.
I’d say it wouldn’t be bad to try for takeout and maybe try to find something you like… I’ll probably try it again and adjust my rating. Till then they’re most popular bowl was not very popular with me. I gave a 4 for food, but the lack of service and the place looking like a Chinese takeout dive throws off the whole vibe. Decorate the inside and do more then take my order and go back to the back never to return.
Also, I was thirsty this day and they sell 6oz baby waters for $1….what am I a toddler? That is super cheap in my eyes. You can buy a huge pack of water from Sam’s club for like three bucks. You can still charge a dollar for a full size bottle of water… Honestly that’s what really took me, Not just the bad service, or the horrible looking atmosphere of a dive which makes me question the cleanliness of the establishment. Yeah. My rating isn’t going to change on second thought. As for the other reviews and pics…some people must be easier to please.

Affordable and high quality sushi! I got the crunchy crab roll for $6.50 and it was a huge portion. I can’t wait to try more next time I go. There seemed to be only one gentleman working the counter and rolling sushi but service was quick. I look forward to going back and trying more rolls.

I can’t say enough good things about this place. The food is always so delicious, the owner is such a fair, kind guy and his prices are more than reasonable compared to other sushi places around town especially for how good the food is. You can tell he really cares about what he serves. This place is a gem and I’ll keep coming back.

My fiancée and I went here for our dinner sushi fix in hopes of a quiet place, and got exactly what we wanted! Walking in, it’s quiet and the gentleman working was also very very kind. We are very used to the Sushi Bar, so the prices here are amazing, so we were NOT expecting fresh rolls!
Super good, and we are VERY glad we stopped here!

Amazing vegan options. We are not strict vegan, and really consider ourselves more plant-based. So, I didn’t grill the staff about “how vegan” everything was. With that said, it is nice to have something different AND affordable. We ordered seaweed salad (best I’ve had since DotWo closed on 63rd), steamed vegetable dumplings (so good we ordered 2 more), the veggie roll, and the mango avocado sushi roll, (Yes, mango and avocado!) It is so nice to have options other than cucumber, carrot, and avocado. (Note: we always eat our sushi with the ginger, wasabi, and soy; with the mild flavors, this is a must in order to elevate veggie sushi to the next level.) We will definitely be back. With everything we ordered at $6 or less, amazingly good, and different than the normal options, this place will be one of new regular places.
