1st time here and this place is great!!! Lots of options to choose from… burgers, apps, wings, sandwiches, and BBQ plates. The bacon broccoli bits were surprisingly good. Wings were crispy and good size. The sauce choices are unique too. Also had the BBQ burger and the crispy chicken sandwich. Both were incredible. Service was very good and friendly. Really good basic margaritas.

I had this place years ago before they reopened and it was amazing and today it was just as good! We loved it! We ordered a ton just to try everything! The food is great! Very reasonable prices! The fry sauce could stop a zombie apocalypse, so so good.

Terribly underwhelming. The image attached is what I left after losing my appetite to bad food. Macaroni was peppery and strange, the coleslaw lacked any sweetness or tang— it was mayo slathered cabbage and flavorless, kielbasa was bone dry, and the ‘texas toast’ wasn’t toasted or buttered. Tea and fries were fine but no better than a Wendy’s. Walls as plain and uninspired, the music was completely off and boring. It felt dead and tasted bad. I came in starving and left without an appetite for all the worst reasons.

Today was our first time trying Backyard BBQ. The prices were perfect, the gaming was an unexpected surprise, it was very clean, and a fun atmosphere. My cheeseburger, my grandmothers pulled pork sandwich, and waffle fries were delicious. I got cheese and chili on mine (which could have been a little heavier) but it was so good. The baked beans had a little spice to them which I loved, potato salad wasn’t my cup of tea because too much of a pickle taste, and my grandmother said her coleslaw wasn’t sweet enough. Everyone has different taste buds though and there are plenty of great things to try on the menu. This is my new favorite place and right up the road from my house!

I stopped by Backyard BBQ in Morgantown and had both the pulled pork sandwich and the chicken sandwich. Both were really flavorful, well-prepared, and served hot. The pulled pork was tender and had a nice smoky flavor, and the chicken sandwich was crispy with fresh toppings.
The waffle fries were a nice surprise crispy, seasoned well, and served with a few dipping sauces that complemented the meal. Everything was served on a simple tray, and the portions were generous without going overboard.
Everyone was extremely friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed without being overbearing. The place has a clean, relaxed feel to it.

Got some food to go. Fam got chicken sandwiches and I got the 3 meat platter. Forgot my fries. If you pack food in containers for take out it’s doubly important you get it right. Platter was all pulled meat. Looked like slop. Sides were not good. Suggest skipping.

Went to the patio with our dog one afternoon. The waitress even brought out a dog bowl with water for us. Love how open it is and how much parking they have for the location. There is an upstairs bar that has a patio that I will need to come back when I don’t have my dog.
We got the frozen cocktail drinks, which are very refreshing. We also got the loaded waffle fries that have the pulled pork on it. We added jalapenos and it’s definitely enough that two people can share or you can make it your full meal. For dessert we got the adult shake that is banana with rum in it.

Was eager to try this place so I picked it with family. Staff are college kids and most are good however some say they have a job but don’t want to work. Waitress was good however everyone got their food but me and they finished eating and I still didn’t have my food so I never got to eat except my granddaughters fries. Be careful what you order because if it comes from their catering kitchen you may never see it because they are failing in that kitchen and don’t want to work. Food was ok but not a place I will ever visit again. I’d say the one good thing is the Manager took care of the bill.

Food is fresh, love the smoked wings and pickle brined tenders. The cheese sauce needs an upgrade though, a chemical-like taste. Service was great, though we were the only ones there on a weekday afternoon.
Really cool spot to hang out or even rent out for a birthday party in the warmer months. We also ordered drinks, the icecream cocktails after trying the slushie cocktails over the Summer. Both times I unfortunately did not feel even a slight buzz at all. So it’s a bit disappointing paying $12 for a relatively normal slushie/milkshake. Thats the only reason for the 4 stars instead of 5. The specialty drinks are pricey and very weak in alcohol. Other than that seems like a good place to spend an afternoon with family or friends !

We absolutely love coming here! Great atmosphere, great food and drinks, staff always friendly. Dirty Bananas are the best I have had, love the outside fire pits.
