This place is amazing. I wish I could add more stars for the food. I eat a lot of Thai food and have several friends who cook for me who are from Thailand. This place is legit. Unlike many Thai places this is not Thai Japanese fusion this is just Thai food. Amazing Thai food.
The space is small but private. Food came out fast even though it’s only a husband and wife and they were slammed.
Go to this Thai Restaurant!!! You will have a perfect cultural experience!

This is a really neat spot!! The woman who takes orders was super sweet to me and my friend. You have the option to customize the spice level of your food. I got the Thai fried rice with pineapple and a Thai tea. My friend got the Pad Thai with a spice level of 6. We also got the spring rolls. I was super happy with the food. In my opinion, tastes pretty authentic. I had been craving spring rolls and rice for a while and this hit the spot. Thank you Ban saisong! I’ll definitely be coming back.

We’d been told this is a really good place for the food, but not to expect much in the way of atmosphere. In other words, a hole in the wall. And it is – and a good one!

We ordered two salads and three entrees as takeout. Since we have various spice tolerances, we asked for a 4 level.

The cucumber salad and som tom salad were great specimens of these salads even though the cucumber one was on the sweet side.

The pad see eww came with lar nar noodles which was a wonderful surprise and the flavor was spot on. The Thai basil stir fry featured lots of cashews and was also very flavorful. The green curry ended being rather soupy, but it came with rice, which sopped up some of the liquid. It was also very tasty.

When we went to pick up the order, we saw that it was the right move as there were maybe six seats there. When mentioning to the owners the different spice tolerances, they gleefully gave us a small tub of their hot spice mix – and warned us to use it sparingly.

So yes, hole in the wall. But really tasty food!!

This is some of the best food available to our town. My partner and I love it here. It’s always so fresh and delicious. The Thai tea is wonderful and I highly recommend it if you like something sweet. (My partners favorite is the Pad Thai. I get the Pho almost every time)

The food is so great! Got pad Thai – the good pad Thais are the moisturized ones and they got those – so delicious.
Also got mango sticky rice and it’s so delicious – good quality ingredient and just right amount of sweet. The Thai coffee is also really good if you like the kind of bittersweet.

They have the best pad Thai I’ve ever had. The soups are amazing as well and so very flavorful. I called today to place a carry-out order and found out that they are temporarily closed.

Small restaurant off 21st. Order and seat style. No waiter.

Limited seating. In fact, limited room. Good take out traffic. I won’t say this is a dine in restaurant. Doesn’t have that kind of feel.

Food is okay. I think simplified. Fried rice is good but soggy. Laab is pretty simplified. Not what I expected Laab dish to take like. Thai pho was good, small portion.

This is definitely a hidden gem in Newark! The Tom Yum soup with beef is unbelievably delicious. The Yaki-Soba is also really good with beef. I got 0-1 spice level for both the soup and noodle dish. The mango and sticky rice is also good but I think there might a little coconut flavor and I am just not a huge fan of coconut but is still good! I will be going back, even if it’s just for the soup
