Let me give an overview:
The venue itself was fine, nothing fancy, pretty basic. We sat outside for a dinner at 7pm on a Wednesday evening. The place was at about 25% capacity, not many patrons.
We sat down and ordered an appetizer and then ordered our food 5 min later. We ordered “still” water (which we found out on the bill was $5 a bottle). Suggestion: if you are going to charge someone for water and they just sat down without reading the menu, inform them that you will charge them for water.
Overall the food was average-good. However, for various reasons, my husband and I both said we will never come back. One of the reasons was because the food was over-priced. The price did not match the quality of food.
Additionally, the service was awful. We had to ask multiple times for more water. The server barely checked on us, although there was not a lot of customers at the restaurant. We had to ask for all of our needs (e.g. more napkins, more water, for salt, for our bill, for a to-go box). He asked us if we wanted side plates for our appetizers and we said yes, but they never came. Although we had ordered 2 apps and they came at 2 different times, we were never brought small plates to eat the appetizers. And there was no plates on the table so we ate the appetizers with our hands.
We had to wait a significant amount of time for our dinner. We ordered it around 705pm and received it about 40 min later. This is absolutely unacceptable for the cost of the food. Our bill before tip, was $110ish for 2 adults and an 8 year old girl.
After we finished eating, we were waiting and waiting and waiting for our check. Finally my husband went in and asked for the check and a to-go box.
As I mentioned, the food was average-good but because of the cost of the food, the wait time for the food and the poor service we decided we will not dine here again.

Smaller local Italian restaurant. The service was excellent considering how short handed they appeared to be. The garlic knots were unique and very good. Not an over powering of garlic. The pizza was great. Crust was light and airy. Loved the little air bubbles on it. Slight garlic taste in the sauce. Definitely recommended trying this spot.

Loved this place! A good variety of italian dishes. We tried calamari, cheese and fig salad, and Margherita pizza. The ingredients were very fresh – especially the cheese! The staff were friendly and the space was large enough for group gatherings. Definitely will go back to try other dishes.

Amazing Private Party!! Its always nerve wracking planning a special day. This party was FLAWLESS at Trattoria Procaccini. The planning was easy, the wait staff (Sarah and Nicole) were amazing. They were professional, friendly and stayed on top of our guests to make sure everyone had what they needed. The food was Fantastic!!! Some items included: bruchetta, Chicken Marsala, Chicken Parm, Shrimp Scampi and some amazing desserts. We are thrilled with the way the entire day played out. Thank you so much Trattoria Procaccini, John, Tony, Sarah and Nicole for making the day perfect!

If you are looking for a a place to hold your very special event look no further! I went to a wedding shower yesterday ( Grp of 40). From the moment I walked thru the doors I knew I would love it there. From the ambience , decor, friendly and excellent wait staff then the Coup d’état was the mouthwatering

Heading back to our home from our vacation…we found this jem in Princeton. Food was wonderful. Dad,mom, and I had pizza w sausage, and spinach. My hubby had spaghetti w meatballs

Dining here is an experience. My friend and I shared the full course meal for $35pp. Everything from the garlic flat bread to the salmon was delicious. This was, by far, the best Italian food I’ve had in a very long time. The staff were friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend
