I’ve been working my way through all the taco spots in the Downtown Cary/Chatham Square area, and this stop was honestly underwhelming.
This review is strictly based on tacos:
Pollo – bland grilled chicken, no real seasoning.
Pastor – dry and lacked flavor.
Barbacoa – decent, but needed salt to bring it alive.
Sauces – the best part, actually pretty good.
The tacos were also very small with barely any meat. Maybe it was because it was Taco Tuesday (half off), but I can’t imagine paying $3 per taco for the portions I got today.
Overall: decent sauces, but the tacos themselves fell flat.

Great place to get pupusas from. We ordered to go since the restaurant is small and often crowded. I had the sopes al pastor and it was delicious and perfectly cooked. Also got 7 pupusas mixtas and they were perfect and cheese was melted perfect, plenty of stuffing in them.
Still delicious the next day when we toasted them in the toaster oven. Highly recommend getting some.
Always order first since food is made to order and can take a 10-15 minutes and you can go ahead and sit yourself where you would like.
I am not a fan of loud music while trying to have a conversation at dinner and their music was not loud this time I went unlike other times.

it was really good the plating was nice and honestly these little things made the experience better and worse the salsa option and toppings are good but the salsa bar is hard to get from because of the glass i used to come here pre covid and finally chose to come back it got even better i personally recommend pork tacos or carne sopes

The staff are so friendly and welcoming and the food is absolutely delicious. I had a barbacoa taco and two pupusas, and my one year old happily gobbled up a bean and cheese pupusa. They make the pupusas fresh when you order them, so they come out hot and all full of melty cheese. You can have them filled with any meat you want! Also there is a great set of fresh pickled veggies and homemade salsas to top your food.
