I had the sweetest experience with Antonio today. I ordered two gyro plates and they were prepared so quickly and smelled wonderful. I went to pay with a card and his machine was down. I explained that I only had $20 cash, and he said, “That’s ok. If you are ever in the area, you can come give me $10. If you don’t come, don’t worry about it.” The food was so delicious. My kid kept picking the potatoes off my plate. He also placed some sweets in my bag. It was just such a lovely interaction. I will 100% return, not only because of his kind act but because I loved the food.

Antonio’s Greek Bakery & Café is hands-down one of our favorite places to eat in Anchorage! Their lemon chicken dinner is absolutely incredible a huge, generous portion that could easily feed two people, and it comes with a super fresh and tasty side salad.
We’re obsessed with his baklava, and Antonio even makes a pineapple baklava that is so unique and delicious. And don’t even get me started on the roasted potatoes… my whole family agrees they’re the best in town. We always have to order extra!
Another thing we love: if you pick up your order in person, Antonio always sends you off with a box of homemade cookies or dessert. He’s truly the sweetest owner — kind, welcoming, and clearly passionate about his food.
It’s a small hole-in-the-wall spot with very limited seating (honestly, I don’t think I’ve ever eaten inside), but the food is absolutely worth it. Highly recommend!

We have tried a chicken dish and it was delicious but we come back whenever we are in Anchorage to buy the cinnamon walnut cookies and baklava! SO delicious and the owner/baker is very kind.

The Pineapple Baklava is exciting to think about. It was magnificent. The Gyro plate was very filling so I only had room for one Baklava, not both, but it was still very tasty with a Mocha the next day.
