We heard about this place and figured we would try it out. It is a small building in the corner with a small parking lot. There was a line to order and it took about 15 minutes to get our food. There is only outdoor seating, DRESS ACCORDINGLY.

We ordered and pictured below,
BAE on plain
BAE on zaatar
Nutella on plain
Plain cream cheese on plain.

We also ordered hot coffee, hot cocoa, and apple juice. Hot cocoa was a hit, the coffee needed cream and sugar and the apple juice was very tasty.

Did came out hot and delicious. Lots of filling and tasty goodness. Gets a little messy, though, but worth it.

We are definitely coming back. We want to try the empanadas, next time.

Girl need bae breakfast with her bestie.

Off we rode in his loyal stead of Grey charger.

Be warned parking is worse than trader joe spots. Parking on the street is you best bet.

The line can get long ordering online for speed.

Not gonna lie though the nice counter lady made it worth ordering in person. So personable! ( she loved my nails too, aka okayyy girllll)

Loved everything!

Pistachio Cold brew Latte. Forgarden. Bae. Guava cream cheese empanadas. Spinach and cheese empanada.

They have outdoor seating.

Support!

Forgotten Bakery is a very cute spot on Stockton Blvd known for its delicious bagels. The bagels are fresh, flavorful, and perfectly chewy. Great spot for a quick, satisfying breakfast or snack. Highly recommended!
I ordered the Everything Bagel with bacon, jalapeño, cream cheese and green onion. It was delicious

Checked this place out on a Su day morning and it was super busy – but service was great and the wait time was reasonable. There is a tiny uncovered seating area with mostly standing room. You may have to take your food to go, especially with the upcoming colder weather.

Parking is a bit strange since it’s on a corner of Stockton blvd, and the lot is tiny and there is mostly street parking.

The food was yummy!

The bagels are fresh, and the eggs are fluffy – I ordered the Egg & Cheese but definitely want to try something different next time

The matcha latte was delish

By far my favorite was the guava and cream cheese empanada.

It is kind pricy though – I paid about $30 for these 3 items.

Can’t speak highly enough about this place that has been on my list for awhile now! The handmade bagels are to die for, including the one with za’tar seasoning. Their empanadas are very yummy too. Had their pumpkin cream latte probably the best one I’ve had all season. Get there early because there’s always a long wait on the weekends, but worse the prices. Stuff is also super welcoming and helpful

Came to try the Bagel Sandwhiches and fell in love with the Empanadas!!! My wife and I ordered the Bae on Sesame and the Pastrami on Zattar, we also ordered the Beef Pino, Classic Beef and Guava Cheese Empanadas. Everything was so good, lots of flavor and just good lol. Tiny corner spot with a small parking lot, easy to miss if driving too fast.

We did a special order for one of our employee’s birthday. He doesn’t like sweet stuff, so we reached out to see if Forgotten Bakery was able to make a giant bagel for his birthday. The service was awesome and they were super excited to do it. The bagels came out amazing and we were so happy they were able to do this for us! I’ll definitely be coming back anytime I am craving a bagel or bagel sandwich.

I recently moved to Sac from the east coast, and while I didn’t live in NYC, I spent enough time in the mid Atlantic to develop a good amount of bagel snobbery. I wasn’t expecting to have many options here in the Central Valley and, broadly speaking I was correct. But we have forgotten bakery, where the bagels are so good that I forget that I’m 3,000 miles from the east coast. Good coffee, friendly service, and great sandwiches. My only complaint is that they don’t have a downtown/midtown location, because the final missing key ingredient to the perfect bagel is the ability to walk from your house to go get it.

This baker is easy to pass by due to the location but if you are ever in the area definitely stop by! Came here for the first time for a bagel sandwich during brunch time with a small group of friends and it did not disappoint.

The seating is all outside, covered high tops and picnic tables. There is limited seating and the parking lot is also very small, but you can also park on the street. The staff were very friendly! Great energy and quick given how many people were there. This place seems very popular as people were not only placing orders but picking up online orders.

You can get bagels, bagel sandwiches, empanadas, and they have a new bagel dog item on their menu. They also offer teas and coffees. I tried the “forgotten” sandwich in jalapeño cheddar bagel and the fries guava empanada. The sandwich was a 8.5/10 for me and the empanada 9/10. My friend got their “superbloom” drink and it was delicious! Refreshing and tasty.

Definitely come by and try this place if you haven’t already, l’d like to come back and try other options.

My wife stumbled upon this place while searching online for a place to buy a pistachio tart. Ultimately she wound up making one herself for my birthday but the online journey did result in us discovering this little gem. I had a Dad’s Club and my wife had The BAE for my birthday brunch. Wonderful. I don’t make bagels but as a frequent baker of artisan sourdough boules and sourdough pizzas, I do appreciate quality breads and the heart and soul that go into them. These were divine. Top it off with a flakey guava cream cheese empanada and it doesn’t get it any better.
The wait to both place my order as well as receive it were reasonable. The cashier was very friendly. I can see how parking could be an issue. I think I was lucky and arrived during a momentary lull as there were a couple of parking spaces in the lot. I don’t know if I will be so lucky during future visits but it looks like I can always park on the street if I need to.
The meal was not cheap but what is these days? It was fantastic though and so flavorful with the bagels being second to none. It is also a bit of a drive for me in a direction/area that I don’t often find myself but I will definitely be making the trip on occasion for a treat. There are several other menu items that look intriguing and I simply must try them at some point after having experienced how fantastic my initial sampling was.
