Runza Restaurants Serving real food requires a real commitment. It all begins bright and early each morning. Instead of serving breakfast, we’re making homemade bread dough from scratch. We’re hand-slicing onions. We’re shredding lettuce for our salads. We’re stirring up homemade chili and fresh ground beef filling for Runza® Sandwiches. It’s a labor-intensive process that doesn’t let up until long after closing time. We know there are easier ways to do all this, but our commitment to doing things the right way is as real as our food, and that’s not something we’re going to change.

I ordered their classic Runza sandwich… it was good but a little small for the price… I also got their Homemade Chili and that was really tasty and their cinnamon roll… OMG! That was the star of the meal… it was buttery… gooey… oh it was good!

We had an incredibly good experience here. The food really delivered. I love the option to get onion rings and fries together.
The runza was amazing, nearly perfect. The bread was wonderfully soft, the meat and cabbage was well seasoned, and the swiss was nice! The mushrooms were a total waste, they were canned… Like wearing a t-shirt to a wedding.
The $1 ice cream was plentiful.
The ranch was amazing, the flavor was perfect.
The staff was really great, they were friendly and had great suggestions. The customers were also friendly.
Honestly I was so impressed it gave me a much nicer impression of Nebraska.
Only real issue was there is mold on the water lever at the drink fountain. Oh and that the cinnamon rolls and chili is seasonal.
Hope to be back sometime soon. Great work!

First time here and I would be a regular if there was one closer to me. The bread is doughy and just the right thickness to hold the filling. Black pepper forward and oh so tasty. Love the bits of onions and the cheese. Ask for crinkle fries extra crispy and ranch on the side. Exceptional ranch and just pay for the onion ring dip.

I was a first time Runza customer and thought It was going to be just any ordinary burger place but it Wasn’t! The service was exceptional. The food was very fresh and made quickly. This was my first time at a Runza restaurant, being from southern MO. I ordered the Classic Runza with cheese along with some onion rings. This was the best sandwich I have ever eaten! The bread was soft and the meat filling was warm and savory. The “double battered” onion rings had a nice, crispy texture and were seasoned perfectly. For dessert, I had the “mint deluxe” shake, which was unlike any other milkshake I have ever had! My only complaint is that the closest location is about 300 miles away.

They got our order wrong Initially but it was rectified quickly without hassle. Did enjoy the staff and their demeanor and it was a lovely clean store. I would consider coming here again even with the small order mix up.

My wife got the southwest chicken, and I was a bit jealous when I tasted how good it was!
