I ordered oxtail via Uber Eats, food was terrible although, delivery went smoothly. There were basically nothing but bones and fat in the box. 1 oxtail was all fat with no meat, see picture attached. I do not recommend. Do not eat here.

The patties were okay, but I ordered 1 chicken and 2 beef, they sent all beef.

I tried this Jamaican spot today and it was on point. I love the smothered soft cooked just right bbq jerk chicken plate. I got the dinner and it was an abundance of food, I couldn’t even finish it was so much. Everything was cooked perfectly. I tried the beef patties and they had like a buttery taste on it which was good. I found my new spot

The dry attitude and lack of customer service was a major turn off. I enjoy sweet plantains but they were very dry.. i asked when I saw them can i remove them from my order and she said no.. i admit I tasted 1 just to see if they were really dry and yes they were. I think I would have dealt with it better if her attitude about it was at least a little more pleasant… the Mac and Cheese was decent

First time ordering from here through DoorDash! The food is pretty decent. They give you a lot of sides but I wish they’d give a little more meat to match the amount of rice and Mac & Cheese. The food was fresh and hot. I wasn’t too excited about the Mac and Cheese, the jerk was really spicy and kind of burnt a bit but the edible parts were good. The beef patty was so good!

Great customer services. We was loony for some Caribbean food on google and decided to get it a try. We got Brown Stew Chicken and Jerk Chicken. The meat was tender and packed with flavor. The rice and peas, was really good and I’m a plantian eater so I have some extra in the side. Great portion size for the price. We will definitely coming back again.

DELICIOUS food!! I am so glad i found this place near me because ive been trying to find good Jamaican Jerk Chicken & this is the spot! Prices are awesome & you get a good amount of food. Place is in a sketchy location, but totally recommend. Also, place does need a little more cleaning, but the food wont disappoint & food comes out pretty quick! Will definitely keep coming back

I’ve been trying to branch out from my usual places to get my jamacian fix and found this place. Read a few reviews and it’s been a min since I was near old natl so let’s go!
My rule of thumb for any new jamacian restaurant is try a patty first if they are dry just leave. These were very moist on the inside and crispy flaky as they should!

Let’s order
When I entered I was greeted with my gwon. Now most restaurants the greeting is important to me but jamacian restaurants are the exception as I’ve gotten great food with little to no acknowledgement and kissing of the teeth. The team working here are very friendly and explained some items to try. This ain’t my first time we joked back and forth.
I settled on curry goat dinner plate and oxtail dinner plate simply because of the price in these times iykyk. Very reasonable and large portions.

Both meals came with sahlad. Yes say it like that and gravy pon mi rice. Very short wait and my orders were ready.

Meals
Now when I popped that top and saw I had butter beans in the oxtails….OK we might have a new go to! Oxtail were very good lots of meat coule be a bit spicier but very good! Now for some reason I didn’t get plantains or either dish not sure if it didn’t come with it or maybe it was forgotten but after eating the curry goat and rice and peas and salad I didn’t have room anyway.

Curry goat now this was spiced just right!! I loved the flavor and not too many bones will Def get this again. But again no plantains in this plate as well??

Restaurant is decorated in usual colors with great music playing inside seating is available with plenty of drinks to choose from tropical rhythm and a ting would be my choices but they also offer some canned us drinks as well.

Will be back to try some other items as well very nice job Jimma staff!!!

I wanted to eat something light, and since I hadn’t had salt fish in a while, I decided to get the ackee and salt fish and a fee beef patties. Now, since I’ve moved to Atlanta. I’ve been underwhelmed with the patties, but these patties were not only spicy but flaky! I thoroughly enjoyed my snack, and yes, even the crumbs! However, I found the ackee and salt fish with cabbage to be lacking some serious flavor and was extremely bland. I’m Caribbean, so if the seasoning is lacking, I’ll know right away. It needed some thyme, spice, and heat to really bring that dish together. It’s edible, but I’ve had better.
