UPDATE! Jimmy John’s now has TOASTED subs! absolutely delicious!
jimmy john’s is as advertised..freaky fast! the main standout at jimmy john’s is the fresh french bread.. it makes every sandwich delicious.. i do wish it was a little bigger..and the “favorites” are a bigger version of the originals. but there is another sandwich shop that’s serious competition. Always use the app for your points and their occasional freebies and BOGO .. one other thing the sides are great.. the potato salad is excellent and you won’t find that at any other sandwich shop!

As much as I love Jimmy Johns, the Rockford JJ has the hardest, crumbly, bread in Kent County. Everytime single time I go to a different JJ, the bread is SO soft! I shouldn’t have to travel to Cedar or Plainfield for a softer bread sandwich. Sometimes it’s so hard I can’t eat it. Someone is doing the bread wrong, or the day old bread is being used. Because it is definitely NOT freshly made.

When you pay to add Guac to a sub…this is ridiculously disappointing. This location is so focused on speed, they forget about quality. This is not the first, second or even third time something like this has happened.

Was just in the store, the manager took a knife off the food counter and cut a bucket open with it, then put the knife back on the food counter. When I called her on it she told me to leave her store. After I had already paid for my food. I will be getting ahold of the health department.

way too focused on being fast so much so that they have forgotten toppings on my sandwich multiple times. i don’t even come in at busy times. like i work in fast food too so i get it, but i don’t order anything overly complicated and i have to pay extra for the extra toppings i order which sometimes i don’t even get them.

We ordered a Beef & Cheddar sandwich from their menu, first order came without cheese, no fried onions, we went back to get what we ordered, a second time received the wrong sandwich, no fried onion and provolone cheese, too many really young workers without proper training and limited attention span. We won’t be coming back.

Very disappointed with the lack of support for young baseball players at the Meijer Sports Complex. When I explained to Manager Maddy that we pre-ordered to make sure our son could eat between games, she showed no understanding or compassion. Despite all the signs around the complex promoting Jimmy John’s, our experience was far from positive.
We placed our order 30 minutes ahead, but were simply told we’d get a message when the food was ready. Maddy also made an inappropriate comment to her coworkers and ended the interaction with a sarcastic “Have a nice day” (twice), which was met with laughter from the staff.
If you’re looking for fast or friendly service, you might be better off using the drive-thru. As a small business owner myself, I can say this is not how customers should be treated.

After waiting an hour for delivery and my lunch break being over, the sub shows up wrong. Clearly states no onion however the only thing on the sub is onion and lettuce. Didn’t even have tomatoes and the sub comes with them.

I went through the drive thru at the JJ’s in Rockford and usually the subs are very good, I usually get the Vito minus the onions, my experience tonight 3/12 was not positive, the service was okay, it was not freaky fast I only order 1 item, the bread was like a rock, I’m not exaggerating, I ended up throwing 1/2 the sandwich out. Jimmy John’s do better!
