Very cozy and quaint specialized Chinese restaurant. It’s not a typical place for the traditional style NY Chinese you can find everywhere. The flavors and textures are varied and you should try it for a new experience. The menu is dim sum focused with a number of larger dishes to share. I loved the special warmed rice pudding with red bean paste and not too sweet of a glaze on top for dessert.

It was great! We drove past it while going somewhere else and just stopped in. The staff was so nice and helpful. Plus the food was amazing. 4 people with around dishes. It was amazing.

I honestly wanted to love this place considering all the hype around it but it was a major let down. Fried rice had no taste other than just an oily film coating your mouth. Dongpo pork had more flavor than the fried rice but nothing memorable. The slice Szechuan pork was a major let down. It did not taste nor look like traditional twice cooked pork. It seems like all the people leaving glowing reviews have never been to any other traditional Chinese restaurant outside of this little bubble. Service was meh, I understood they were busy so no points off. Just bad food in my opinion.

Our waiters were were great! We just stumbled up on this great little place. We got the lunch special and honestly this was a lot of food for three people, but we got try alittle bit of all their stuff.

The atmosphere was ok with the decorations. A lot of issues with the food, where to start. Pan fried XLB while juicy were very small. Wuxi ribs first order came out room temp on one side and refrigerator cold on the other. Salted duck and eel were ok. All broccoli little shrimp on that dish. Mapo tofu heat is off, feels like a fruity hot sauce was used instead of Sichua peppercorns, tofu was good and silky. Eight treasure rice came out ok, would have liked more treasures covering the bottom like it’s homemade.

The food in this ancient hole in the wall restaurant is fantastic. We didn’t get a single thing that we didn’t enjoy. The ribs were fabulous and the dumplings were perfectly cooked. I don’t necessarily enjoy soup but it was definitely worth a second visit.
