The food was tasty, and the soup was served in a super hot lava stone. Our server was knowledgeable, however did not feel she was a good host.
The brunch bar was fantastic. They offer a beautiful spread of traditional Mexican dishes that are authentic, flavorful, and clearly prepared with care. At the same time, they provide additional options that allow everyone to find something they love. Everything I tried was delicious, fresh, and thoughtfully presented. It felt like a celebration of Mexican cuisine rather than just a meal.
One of the highlights of Santo Coyote is the atmosphere and design. Make sure you take time to walk around and explore. There are so many unique spaces, artistic details, and incredible photo opportunities throughout the restaurant. The waterfall area in particular is absolutely stunning and adds such a peaceful and magical element to the experience. Every corner feels intentional and beautifully curated.
The service was warm, attentive, and welcoming, which made the visit even more enjoyable. The staff helped create an environment where you can relax, enjoy the food, and take in the beauty of the space at your own pace.

Plan your visit for brunch, served daily from 8:00 am to 12:30 pm. The atmosphere is nothing short of magnificent. What truly elevates the mood is the presence of live mariachi music, which fills the space and instantly lifts your spirits, setting a vibrant, festive tone.
Beyond the incredible ambiance, the food selection is extensive and satisfying, offering something delicious for everyone. The staff is exceptionally attentive and professional, ensuring top-notch service throughout your visit.
However, the most memorable and unique part of the experience is the opportunity to request a blessing from the resident Shaman. This spiritual, beautiful tradition makes dining at Santo Coyote a truly special occasion.
To start, I ordered the guacamole with chicharrón and queso as appetizers. Both dishes were absolutely delicious — the guacamole was fresh and full of flavor, and the crunchy chicharrón added the perfect texture. The queso was rich and comforting, a perfect way to begin the meal.
For my main course, I had the Mar y Tierra churrasco with shrimp, and it was simply outstanding. The steak was tender and perfectly cooked, complemented beautifully by the juicy, flavorful shrimp. Every bite felt like a celebration of flavor and quality ingredients.
The service was also excellent — attentive and friendly without being intrusive. Overall, Santo Coyote delivered a wonderful experience filled with great food, inviting ambiance, and top-notch service. I can’t wait to go back and try more from their menu!
We ordered the octopus and the molcajete — both were delicious! The drinks were great and the service was attentive all night. The atmosphere is beautiful, the restaurant is gorgeous and very clean, and the live mariachi was such a perfect authentic touch
My baby even loved the fideo soup
Definitely a must-visit when you’re in GDL!
It is very difficult to find places that have great service, atmosphere, and great food but this is definitely one of those places! Can’t wait to visit again
