Food is really good. Forgive my 4 star. Just because my steak was very tough. But flavors were fantastic. I got the Flank Steak and substituted the rice for mashed potatoes. I’d definitely get it again. We come here often.

Went tonight and had a great meal. Our server was Sterling. He was very attentive the entire meal and had a great recommendation with the halibut. Super tasty dish and highly recommended. Interior was very clean and well set up. We didn’t use the bar, but a nice sized bar seating area as well. I wish I was local so I could return, but I’d encourage locals and tourists to give this place a try.

Service was FANTASTIC, she recommended the tomato Pomodoro for me, and my man got the Fairbanks Dip. You enter the hotel and head to the left, was formerly Red Lantern. Under new ownership and they seem to know what they’re doing! The red lanterns are still hung at the bar, and I kind of want them to keep them (or one) as an Easter egg for locals! I had the Fleur Fizz, a prosecco, elderberry and lemon drink. Super good! The meat on the Fairbanks dip was tender and not dry, like most in Fairbanks are. Highly recommend stopping for a dinner, their meals are very filling! 5 stars!

Under new management, it still has a similar feel to it. I tried several items off the new menu with mixed results. Everything was good but not quite what I would call excellent. I was very pleased to share with the staff when they asked and they seemed very receptive to my opinion. I will be going back again and again because their service and staff were phenomenal and I’m sure with time the food will get better and better.

There’s no review on breakfast- skip it; it was a hot buffet with eggs, sausage, and cubed potatoes. We received dining vouchers upon check-in. Go to the Husky Bar for lunch or dinner instead of breakfast.
