Absolutely incredible experience! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm, welcoming, and authentically Italian. The service was attentive without being overbearing, and every recommendation was spot on.
The highlight of the night was the lobster ravioli — hands down the best I’ve ever had. The pasta was perfectly cooked, the filling was rich and flavorful, and the sauce complemented it beautifully without overpowering the lobster. Every bite was fresh, balanced, and unforgettable.

Decided to give it a try. We have heard good things about it. Atmosphere is definitely a 10/10 great vibe. Wife ordered the pizza and I ordered the sampler. The pizza was very good with a great crust. The sampler was okay, chicken parm was decent the Alfredo was good. The lasagna was cold in the middle. This is where it went down hill. When I mentioned it to the server he apologized and said he was going to tell someone in the kitchen. Whoever it was I could hear them say there is no way. Well a little customer service goes miles. Had they not said anything would have been better than what was said especially when the customer can hear it. I had already paid my bill, and was just letting them know so it could be avoided in the future.

This is hands-down, the single best dining experience La Place has to offer. The service is excellent. The food is incredible. My wife and I both had the sampler. The lasagna is to die for. 10/10 would recommend. If you’re looking for some amazing food, look no further.

My son and I dined here on Valentine’s Day evening, 2/14/2026. went and the food was delicious. The service was terrible. We ordered appetizers that came out with our entrees instead of before the entrees. Although they took our drink orders, we never got them. When they brought out our food, we had to ask for our iced tea and water. The server said she forgot! We never got our iced tea and water refilled. They brought us our bill and go plates before we were finished eating without asking if we wanted coffee and/or dessert. We asked for the dipping oil for the bread and were told they charge for it. We got it brought to our table without asking at the Westbank location.
We ate at the location on the Westbank and it was not like this at all. We hope the location improves.

My mother and I dined here on Valentine’s Day evening, 2/14/2026. We were excited to have a good Italian restaurant that is close, because we live in Norco. The Fratellis location in Luling is great. We CANNOT say the same for this Laplace location. Upon being seated my mother and I noticed that the silverware still had food particles caked on it from not being throughly cleaned. Next, our waitress was absolutely Godawful and I knew in my mind the service would be a clown show. She took some time to take our order. When she finally did, she started bringing out all the appetizers and entrees at the same time without even having our drinks first! I said to her, “Umm, can we have our drinks??.” She then look extremely frazzled and brought them to us. Also of note, you don’t bring us all of the food at the same time. You bring the appetizers first and then the entrees after some time has passed. The food I have to say was the only saving grace from this visit, as it was really good. We didn’t even get offered to have our drinks refilled the entire sitting. We then felt extremely rushed as we were brought the pizza box, other to-go boxes, and the bill before we were done eating! Unfortunately, we will not be back and will warn others of our experience.

Fratelli’s Sucks
I have really tried to like this place. Don’t get me wrong, the food is good, the service is not! I have come twice and every time I have been either mistreated or disregarded. The first time I overlooked, guy said he could seat us anywhere; I requested a booth he then gave us a table because “the booths are big” and we were a party of two. After my meal I then realized that he had given the booth I requested away to two white woman. Me nor my guest were white, we are both African American woman. That I overlooked, but, I am here for a second time and we were seated but our server proceeded to ignore us and talked to another table full of white people who were seated after us! She then skipped over us again to talk to another table that, once again, was full of white people. I really have tried to like this place but it is seeming like they are unprofessional and a bit racist. Fratelli’s you have seen the last of my money. Do not go here if you are African American, they don’t like us.
