This ice cream parlor is truly a gem! The ice cream is always fresh, delicious, and full of flavor, with so many great options to choose from. The shop is clean, welcoming, and has such a friendly atmosphere.
What really makes this place special is the owner. He is incredibly kind, patient, and attentive, especially to my elderly patients. He takes the time to make sure they are comfortable, helps them with their orders, and treats them with genuine care and respect. That level of compassion means so much.
It’s rare to find a business that not only serves amazing treats but also serves the community with heart. Highly recommend! ❤️

Amazing service and truly unique ice cream!
We brought our kids and their friends for a little party, and from the moment we walked in, Mike made us feel incredibly welcome. He was extremely accommodating, kind, and engaged with everyone the entire time. A real people person made the time to learn our names and was so patient with the kids ordering their individual orders.
Mike also took the time to explain where the products came from and what was in each ice cream we sampled. We tried many flavors, and the quality was like no other. This is truly gourmet ice cream ,perfectly in between soft serve and hard ice cream, unlike anything we’ve had anywhere else. The place was spotless not after we left had a few sprinkles left behind, but he laughed it off and said as long as the kids were happy, he was happy.
We are planning to bring everyone back in March for a birthday. ice cream cake and individual cups kids will love it easy and fun adults can split an ice cream and have a coffee while the kids play a few games.
An outstanding experience from start to finish. Highly recommend this ice cream shop. We will definitely be back!

We come here about once a week, and it’s easily one of our favorite places. The ice cream is absolutely amazing every single time, but what truly sets this shop apart is the owner. He takes the time to tend to each and every customer and somehow makes everyone feel like they’re the most important person there. He always greets people with a warm smile, genuine kindness, and such a positive outlook. You can feel how much he truly cares, and that care makes the entire experience even better. Was at Dunellen Theatre for kid’s concert and stopped in after. Excellent customer service. Offered free samples and manager was very attentive. Ice cream and Italian ices were great. Even offered a few table games while we waited. Definitely will stop in again when in the area. Highly recommend.

Had a great experience coming to Uncle Louie G’s. I am glad to see one pop up near my house. Knowing that this was nearby, I took my daughters after their ice skating lesson to try some of my favorite ice creams from a franchise I frequented when growing up.
The owner was thoughtful and patient, even though we were indecisive. He made sure we were happy with our choices and was genuinely excited to make sure my girls enjoyed everything. I highly recommend visiting this location.

Hands down the best ice cream place in the area. The selection is unmatched! I’m a big Italian Ice guy and they had TONS of options. Their level of safety pertaining to food allergies is unmatched. My wife is allergic to eggs, dairy, and nuts and had a wonderful experience. The staff are the best in the business. We had a blast and a great conversation with the owner. Every question got answered and you got well more than you paid for. We will be back within the week!
