I got a small oxtail with rice & peas with cabbage and yams it was absolutely delicious I was so hungry and been craving Jamaican food so yea I didn’t get to take a pic lol my total was 22 I got a soda with it and even though it was a small it was more than enough food inside thank you first choice also the man was very warm and welcoming

Their food is okay. Not too good and not too bad. I had their curry chicken with rice and peas with plantains and baked Mac and cheese. The curry needed more flavors but it was decent and the plantains did not taste good. The baked mac and cheese was good. Some menu items may not be available during the day. This is decent Jamaican food but I had better.

I ordered a medium curry goat and it was amazing the portion size was excellent well worth the price. The meat was melting in your mouth definitely the best curry goat in the area can’t wait to try other meals here

The Food is Awesome.. they didn’t have a takeout menu.but hey…cause the prices keep changing..Besides that the Food was amazing enjoyedit all..recommend this place to everyone..I had the curry goat and oxtail both with pea and rice and cabbage..excellent

This is the only Jamaican restaurant I eat from in South Jersey. The food is delicious; I’ve never had a miss. Prices are very reasonable, especially for the portion size received. Being a regular here, the owner will know my order without me saying anything.

I don’t usually leave negative reviews, but I felt this needed to be shared. I ordered a rice meal with jerk chicken, and the food was clearly spoiled. The chicken had gone bad, and even with the jerk sauce you could still taste it wasn’t safe to eat. It’s very concerning that something like this was served, given the health risks. I used to come here in the past, but after this experience I can’t recommend it anymore. I’m actually writing this while dealing with stomach issues from the meal.
