My family & I have ordered take out from Hacienda Vieja in Merryville, La 3 times & always order beef Fajitas for 2, Large Salsa, extra Salsa & Large Queso. We had an issue each of those times & didn’t realize such until we got home, 20 min away so wasn’t at restaurant to ever get it fixed although we did tell them when we went the next time to pick up order but they didn’t attempt to resolve issues besides telling us to let them know if we have anymore issues which is exactly what I just did with this last order! I called & told them & they simply said “Thanks for letting us know.” The first order we didn’t get the tortillas or rice that’s suppose to come with the fajitas but the price was excellent as they had just opened up the Restaurant so I didn’t complain although I was disappointed. The second order we had an issue with the queso cheese dip. It had an odd texture & taste.The best way that I can explain it is that it was grainy & didn’t taste right but again the prices were good. Some friends ordered take out couple days before us & also said the same about their queso texture & flavor, they didn’t like it either. This last order we got Nasty Disgusting Salsa & the prices went up a lot. I ordered & paid for Extra Salsa so it wasn’t just the free salsa that they give you with chips! The tomatoes must’ve been rotten! It tasted & smelled like rotten tomatoes! Idk if they put a rotten tomato in it or if they keep adding ingredients daily to the same big container of salsa & not make it fresh daily or if they use previous day leftover PICO de gallo in it or what but that wasn’t fresh & was SO NASTY & DISGUSTING!!! BEWARE!!!

Friendly owners and employees, and good food. I went with a group, and everyone enjoyed it. The food is a good value for the price, and there is a good variety on the menu.

Tacos were okay, rest of everything else was bland and or cold(cheese dip).
Plus there was “stuff”(not sure if it was cilantro or what) in bottom…
