I write a lot of reviews, give credit where due and suggestions for improvement as needed. Visited this store 02/04/26 for lunch (not from the area), upon entering appears there is some remodeling going on…we not going on but maybe started a while back and never finished. Seating very limited and tables dirty. The staff was prompt and friendly, the sandwich bread was fresh. I did notice when they were slicing the meat (Penny Club) they were so thin you could read a newspaper through them. That needs a little work, cheese is pre sliced (to speed up orders I’m sure). The toppings were fresh and it was a really good sandwich, exactly as I hoped and with the same continuity as other locations which is great. The cookies are meh, not sure the age but still soft and chewy in the middle. (Pro tip: get cookies from the back of the stack, fresher). Asked for a water cup but after several attempts at the water dispenser all I could get was pink water as it shared the same tap as the Fruit Punch. Seriously after filling and dumping 6-7 cups I couldn’t get the fruit punch out of the water.

After cleaning my own table (high-top by the door) it constantly wobbled. But back to the food, it was excellent, service was good, value for what I got, not so much, one slice was so thin only 1/2 of it made it off the slicer.

Goodcents everywhere went down hill and prices increased incredibly after all the local owners started selling their stores (I think they are all now owned by the same foreign family with only relatives working there). Work on slicing meats a little thicker and manage time to clean the lobby (and finish your remodel).

I would return the next time I’m passing though.

(The same family also owns the Blue Springs location which when Mr. Mirkowski sold it to them being assured the employees would still have a job, were all fired the next day and replaced with family of the new owners, Mr. Iqbal)

New owners are now forcing tipping.
Family members stand next to the cashier just to see if customers tip.
If tipping is forced, we avoid the place—period.
If you don’t wait on my table or clean it like a full-service restaurant, why tip?
It’s no different than Taco Bell or McDonald’s—arguably an harder jobs —and they don’t ask for tips.
Employees shouldn’t need tips just to do their jobs .
This place is now blacklisted.
Stop requesting Tips.

Definitely under different ownership. The sandwich has gotten pretty sad. A single layer of meat makes for basically a bread sandwich. The bread was also burnt on top despite not being a toasted sandwich. Still looks like the same setup just worse on quality.

I used to love going to this location and would frequent a couple times a week but now I have had nothing but bad experiences since they switched ownership maybe a year ago now. They seriously put no more then 2-3 extremely thin slices of meat on every sandwich now. I thought it was just me, but it looks like its just how they do it now. Dont go here unless you want to pay for a loaf of bread with hardly any toppings.

If I could give my experience negative stars I would. My fiancé placed a curbside order for 6:15pm pickup. I arrived shortly after that time and called to let them know I was there. I had trouble totally understanding them but was under the impression my order had just been done or almost done. I waited for almost 20mins before calling again. When I called back the employee seemed confused and told me “I don’t know what to do ma’am” that’s when I asked if I needed to wait or come in and get it. I went in and the employee grabbed our sandwiches from the counter. At first I didn’t think about it, but once in my car I thought about how long they were sitting on the counter and felt them, they weren’t cold anymore. I went back in and requested my money back which started a back and forth with the employee saying that I should’ve canceled the order before they made it if I didn’t want it. Except I did, I just didn’t want to risk getting food poisoning now. They called their manager twice, but stepped away to do so, so I’m not even sure what was said. Came back and told me both times their manager won’t refund it. They also set my sandwiches that I had touched, took to my car, set on my seat on the clean sandwich wrap that I then saw them wrap another customers sandwich in after pushing mine aside.
My fiancé then drives 20mins for him to tell them the same thing I told them and now they can give us a refund? So not only did I experience poor customer service in the sense of attentiveness, food safety, and speed. But also not taken seriously because I’m a women? Unfortunately we will never come back to this location, this used to be our favorite location. Not anymore.

Was in on Sunday seems like they have a new crew they are super friendly and made a good sandwich. My daughter had an issue and Drew fixed it without even asking superior customer service.

This location in Liberty Missouri has really gone down first of all they cut their meats really thin paper thin and expect you to pay these high prices for the sandwiches. Second of all when you try to use your rewards they never know how to work their reward scanner or know what kind of reward specials they got running on what day and they always act like it’s you that has the issue (the customer). Whoever is running this store location 314 South 291 highway needs to be retrained in all areas. I will not be returning as a customer to this location.

No longer the previous owners. They “decorate” your sandwich with the least amount of toppings you could ask for, not efficient, not clean, out of everything. Anyone who gives them a recent 5 star review has the same last name as the owners. Sad we’ll have to find a new spot now.
