Well, karaoke just started last week, I was told, but it wasn’t happening tonight because of weather. I will be going there tonight to try it out though. It’s going to be on Thursdays and Fridays. The bartender was very nice and the place is pretty spacious.

This was a rip off for what we paid. Nothing was the way it was supposed to be or that was expected. Our 1st time here fory daughters party and we were supposed to have a “party room” it was tables do close together you could barely walk by. The host did not do her job just sat there watching me do her damn job. Not only was the experience inside bad, we find out after paying that they took a 30$ charge off my card after everything was paid for. I believe that’s theft considering I already paid in full and the charge was taken after we had left. I do not recommend this skating rink. It’s definitely a let down for what you pay. There was no place for anyone to get food the lady said go ask at the bar well there was no one at the bar and no one showed up til 5 and that’s only because they were opening the bar for people to drink. Honestly my opinion is they just need to be a bar and drop off the skate part.

Super huge dancefloor, good music, and beer. Almost perfect….too bad word hasn’t gotten out about this place and the renovations. The only thing missing was the people.

We had a good time scooting boots. Seemed to be older clientele here. Food was good. Waitresses had fun interacting with us. A lot of history in this building. We didn’t check out the skating rink. Something for everyone.

Best current live-music Country & Western DANCE-CENTERED, COUPLES-ORIENTED venue (two step, swing, waltz, ect) anywhere in this particular area of east Texas! The real wooden dance floor is HUGE (bigger than any other country DANCE FLOOR within an hour or two)!!! If you haven’t heard about or seen the Brand “NEW” REO total makeover & you love dancing the nite away on a Fri and/or Sat nite, you owe it to yourself to check it out in-person with your boots on at least once. Pretty sure you won’t be disappointed! Word is already out all around the dance community & they’re piling in from everywhere from Tyler to Longview, all points in-between & the area-wide surrounding/small-town, rural communities! The historic REO is no longer the sleepy, old-folks karioke & dance venue that it had slowly devolved/degenerated into over the years. It’s back to the lively, all-age, dance floor filled, packed house of it’s heyday!!! Get up off offa that thang and dance & you’ll feel better – Dance Children Dance – and keep on dance, Dance, DANCING till you can’t no more in one nite (till 2 a.m. if you want)…
P.S. Good food, great staff & nice variety of adult beverages for those who prefer to just hang out together or watch.
