We have a cottage a few miles from State Road. The new owner has added so much to this favorite restaurant. The food is yummy and the way he’s configured the bar makes for a fun atmosphere. We bring guests here a lot and they love the experience. Our favorite menu items are the burgers, the broasted chicken and the new chicken sliders! So yummy!

Getting a take-out order on a Friday night (at 5:30 pm) and the burger modifications not applied is annoying. The prices have gone up with a lower adjustment in quality and I only order from convenience being North of Harbor Springs. As someone who only orders out of True “desire” for a take-out meal, I’m always disappointed in the food..

If you ever find yourself in Stutsmanville, Michigan (a few miles north of Harbor Springs on State and Stutsmanville roads), check out State Road Provisions! Always fast service, generous portions, amazing food, a generous beer selection/full bar, and good prices. Can’t go wrong with their personal Detroit Style pizza and a Bell’s Two Hearted! Indoor and outdoor seating available. Been here several times now and always amazing. You won’t leave hungry (or thirsty).

YUM!!! My husband and I went here for the first time and let’s talk about their delicious pizza! We ordered the SRP Detroit style (large/corner) pizza and it looked so good that I didn’t even think to take a picture until we were done with the first half. It was a great price, too! I think $21.50? Between the two of us, we only ate half, but it made an excellent dinner the next night. I can only describe this like jets pizza but less greasy and higher quality ingredients.

Has a sitting area with a campfire pit for outside activities. It also has a buck pole for those that like to hunt. We ate breakfast and it was very good.

Delicious pizza… like Buddy’s downstate, red wine was excellent, onion rings and beef very fresh and flavorful. Our server Rez was sweet. The tables were cleaned well between customers. A 5-Star review and a must try if you haven’t eaten here.

Disappointing change.
Used to be a great spot with real, quality food. Now it’s all frozen Gordon’s stuff and pre-formed patties. The food is just okay at best. Add in the loud (and not in a good way) country music, and it’s a miss for me.
