Koko Loko Coffee is such a calm little escape.
I had the pistachio latte and it was fantastic balanced, nutty, and not overly sweet.
The barista was warm and welcoming, which really adds to the overall vibe. Inside, it’s bright, minimal, and quietly buzzing, perfect for reading, working, or chatting without yelling over noise.
Loved the long communal tables and clean, modern décor. If you’re looking for a peaceful spot with great coffee, this place absolutely deserves a 5-star stop.

My ham and cheese croffle was soooo good! The cheese was melty and the crossaint had a nice crisp from the waffle maker. I ordered an iced cookies and cream latte and while the heart shaped straw was a cute touch the latte flavor was lacking and the powder wasn’t incorporated well. I ended up ordering an iced caramel latte and that latte saved the day!

Walking in, the vibe of the cafe was very aesthetically pleasing.
The service was also great, and the girl helping us at the counter was very nice!
I got a lotus cinnamon cream croffle and a cookies and cream iced latte. The croffle was delicious, and the presentation was great. The latte was decent, but there were a few large pieces of cookie. It was not mixed extensively, so there were some parts of the drink that were warmer than the rest. The macarons were relatively cheap cost-wise and tasted fine.

I enjoyed their Ham and Cheese Croissant and their Blue lemonade. Their food was pretty good, but the lemonade wasn’t exceptional like some other reviews noted. For being placed in the dreariest part of New Brunswick, it does well for its location to be more modern, and I appreciated that it’s a good study spot for some Rutgers students. I would come back again to try the croffle, most likely.

I would highly recommend to stay or take out. We loved our large lattes. I would have loved to tried out the Dubai brownie but I can’t have the sugar. Lol. 5 stars!!

The place is lovely to study at it’s quiet and they have comfy furniture. But there staff members aren’t the nicest people in my opinion. I’ve gotten several cappuccinos that were cold same with there normal black coffee. The taste is just not it. They should definitely train their staff to make appropriate drinks and be more friendly to the guests. The place is just very unprofessiona, the only have one food option, they definitely don’t bake daily, and their coffee is poor quality. There is much potential! But at this point I just go there to study and don’t even buy a drink

We visited Koto Loco Coffee and were greeted with a warm, friendly smile right away—such a great start to our morning!
I went with a hot chocolate, and my husband had an Americano.
We both got breakfast croissants that were tasty. Not a big variety to pick from.
There was a small hiccup when the lid on my husband’s coffee wasn’t secured, and it popped of and plashed on my hand wthe table in front of him. Thankfully, it wasn’t too hot and I didn’t get burned. The barista handled it quickly and kindly offered to make a new drink, which we appreciated.
We sat at one of the outdoor tables—nice for a quiet morning, though the furniture could use a little refresh.
Overall, Koto Loco is a cozy little spot.
