This is my second time visiting Anchorage Grill, and the food is absolutely amazing! I’m so glad I went today — the portion was perfect, and the flavor was like a firecracker in my mouth. The bun was delicious, and that cherry habanero bacon… oh my goodness! The owners are wonderful — so kind and welcoming — and they even gave me cookies. If you’re looking for a great burger, you have to check out Anchorage Grill!

Decided to celebrate . birthday and eat lunch here after driving by for months. This place is a gem on the edge of the river and causeway. The owners Bo at the grill and Red at the window are engaging, confident in their menu, super friendly.
The Baja Mahi tacos are the BEST I have ever eaten. The Mahi is fresh, perfectly grilled, the flour tortillas are slightly grilled thus not soppy and falling apart the the coleslaw with wasabi garnish on top is again perfectly balanced in flavor without an overwhelm of too much sauce nor too hot.
Red kindly offered me a cup of her hawaiian cole slaw which is delicately flavored with a pineapple twist.
The view of the boatyard, docks, and river makes this restaurant standout.

Owners were so friendly which started the experience off on the right foot….Great people, great food and atmosphere! My daughter had the Grits gon Red and she raved about it!! My son had the cheesteak and said it was the best he’s ever had…Hubby had a beer which he said was perfectly cold and I had a Chicken and Shrimp hibachi bowl which was sooo friggin good. Very flavorful and cooked to perfection….Our fur baby approved also….he was given some ice water and bacon, which made him a happy boy. Such good conversation and addition to our day. We made it here by chance but will deff. be back on our next venture here.

IM OBSESSED how lucky are we to have such phenomenal food right here in our backyard. Every. Single. Item. Will be a 8/5 stars. The flavors, the variety, the quality. And can I just say how much I love the location? Waterfront view, beautiful breeze, amazing! This place is a GEM! Great little food truck. I had the ring of fire smash burger and it was amazing! My boyfriend had the beachside duo of a shrimp and a mahi taco that were both fresh and yummy. Beautiful location on the water if you like eating outdoors. Definitely give this place a try!

My fiancée and I visited today for a late breakfast/early lunch. I got the breakfast burrito with bacon, she got the breakfast sandwich with bacon, and then we shared the ahi poke wontons.
The sandwich was delicious, with a soft bread and perfectly cooked eggs. She let me have a bite of it and it was great.
I loved the breakfast burrito more though, as it was juicy and flavorful. No clue why no one has thought of putting scallions on a breakfast burrito up to this point. The flavors are on point.
What surprised both of us though, were the ahi poke wontons. The flavor of these wontons is just unreal. I have literally been all over Asia, and to just about every major trending and fine dining food restaurant in Japan (from Hokkaido all the way to Tokyo, Kyoto, Osaka, Hiroshima, and Fukuoka); this beats most of the tuna items I’ve tried in any of those places in Japan, and definitely all of the fish places in the US so far. It is on par and in some ways surpasses any tuna you could find in Osaka, which is effectively Japan’s food mecca. Easily on par and, depending on what you’re looking for, beats them all out in terms of freshness and flavor. The chef came out and after chatting a bit, found out he was an award winning sushi chef. Boy, does it show! We ordered a second helping of the wontons because they’re just that good.
I found this place through reviews like this one and was skeptical it could get a perfect 5 starts so consistently. I was wrong to be skeptical: it earned those reviews. Great and friendly service, and amazing food. I’m glad we came to eat there and am 100% saying if you love good, flavorful food, although especially if you love tuna, that you should give this place a shot.

I had the Anchorage Smashburger and it was amazing! The bacon they use was also delicious. The husband and wife team that operate the establishment are extremely nice and personable. Plus the view of the river was spectacular. Highly recommend and will be back.
