Palermo Specialty Chicken Plate – “Spicy”, is Highly recommend, my whole family loves that plate – The Bolognese is delicious, pizza is great – You got to love the atmosphere with the Frank Sinatra playing in the background.

First time my family and I ate here and we will definitely be back! We even called to let them know how much we enjoyed their food! Best pizza I have had in a long time and my dad had the meatball sub, only got a picture of half of it, but it looked great! The pizza was the Palermo special and it was so flavorful! Awesome customer service, thank you Santino!

My family and I happen to be in the area when a quick Google search led me to Palermo No. 2. I’m not gonna lie at first we were a little hesitant but decided to stay. Well, I’m glad we did because the food was so good. My husband had the baked lasagna, I had the Palermo special and my kids had baked pasta as well. We loved it. The service was good. The place is small and there was only one waitress. If you go during peak dinner hours be prepared to wait and the place is small. Other that definitely recommend.

It is a small restaurant where the waitress seemed to know the customers, who must be regulars. That is a good sign. It was my first time, and I went in around 5:30 on Saturday. It took a while to get noticed even though I was seated. I got the dish most mentioned, Palermo Specialty pasta with vegetables and chicken. The vermicelli pasta was American dry box type with smooth surfaces, instead of imported Italian pasta with rougher finish, nor was it fresh pasta. The added chicken was on the dry side. The dish was underwhelming to average. The bean soup was likewise mediocre, and the much touted knot bread was OK. The next time I go back, I will try linguine con vongole, or with clams. The city of Palermo is by the coast of Sicily, so I should have focused on seafood dishes. (Edited 2 days later — the 2 day old leftover I had for lunch was pretty good. I’ll up it to 4 stars).

Food is awesome, but the service is why we keep coming for years. Is a family run restaurant and the ambiance is great. We love the pizza, we ask for thin crust with extra garlic. YUMM!! But favorite is the pasta we get the Palermo’s Special. Pasta with lots of veggies and chicken, the sauce is only good quality olive oil with garlic! Highly recommend this place! It was soo good I forgot to take pictures.
