The atmosphere is pretty simple, small town restaurant. The food is decent and not complicated, but could be a little more creative and interesting. The service is spot on however and adds a lot to the experience.

It was probably the worst service and definitely the worst steak I have ever had. The steak pictured cost $28 and was so raw and under seasoned, that i could not take more than 2 bites. The fat wasn’t even rendered or seared in any way. There were some random hard inedible green stems in my green beans. There wasn’t any seasoning on them either. The baked potato was good. It was well cooked. The waitress never checked on us after giving us our food. The lady clearing dishes noted how raw my steak was and asked if it needed to be cooked more and I told her it was ok, because I would take this steak home and feed to to my dogs. Maybe that was rude, but that is exactly what I plan to do with this skinny, raw, under seasoned ribeye. On the up side, and the reason for the 2 stars,is that she felt bad enough about the steak that she didn’t charge us for it. It was a nice little off the road spot, so not a bad atmosphere. I don’t see myself ever going back to try anything else.

Traveling for work, looking for good food. Two people in our group ordered Pork chops. They were way over cooked and under seasoned. I’d suggest using a meat thermometer and pulling them at 140 and letting rest.
My self and another guy ordered steak, it was under seasoned and little under our preference. Salad, vegetables and union rings were great!
I’m not trying to put your establishment on blast, however If you used twice as much seasoning and double checked your meet the thermometer and let things rest. You would be spot on.

Overall good food. We had the shoestring onion rings- good but very small pieces, Gizzards were little tough. Also had all you can eat fish and 2 sides of your choice. Mac n Cheese was out of this world. Fish could of been crispy but overall good flavor. Definitely recommend!
