From the outside you would not think this is a fantastic spot but do not let the parking lot deceive you.
The food is fantastic – the best Mexican fare I have found in the Dayton region.
The staff we interacted with were extremely pleasant and attentive without being intrusive.
The margaritas are powerful! They start off 4 shots of tequila each .
We came here for our anniversary and now we are coming back frequently.

Our food was delicious. I had the parrillada and my wife had the rib eye special. Both were excellent, we actually traded off about halfway through. Portions are plentiful and we left with boxes. We also had a side dish that had octopus, shrimp, fish, in a lime cilantro blend. We decided octopus is not our thing. Service needs work. The night we were there only three other tables were occupied. After getting our food our server never came back. We eventually had to go find someone. There is also a language barrier but that got resolved. We’d go back, great food.

What a hidden gem! They have a large menu of authentic, fresh, high quality Mexican dishes with an emphasis on seafood. We’ve been multiple times and have never been disappointed. Service is always quick and very friendly. Prices are pretty good considering the quality. Happy hour and the lunch specials are a great value!!!

Very good tacos with legit tortillas and marinated, perfectly charred steak. Grilled knob onions and chiles torreados on the full-price taco entrees are a great touch. Hot sauces are legit, fresh, and hot. The salsa here is also remarkably tasty and they serve it in little individual bowls, so you can double dip. The guacamole is nice and chunky, and seems to be freshly prepared to order.
Taco tuesday prices are a big draw. Beware the $4 beverages, though. And tip super generously when your meal is super cheap!
Waitstaff here has erred a lot when I’ve visited, but the service is hospitable and inviting.

This place stands out for having what’s probably the freshest and most extensive seafood menu in Dayton. The variety is impressive, and you can tell they take pride in their seafood offerings.
The menu is huge overall, with plenty of familiar steak and Mexican dishes alongside the seafood. The full bar serves margaritas as well as traditional micheladas and other authentic Mexican drinks.
They’ve recently done some nice remodeling inside, and there’s even a stage for live music, which adds great atmosphere. Conveniently located in a shopping center right next to a Mexican grocery store.
Highly recommend if you’re looking for fresh seafood or want to try something beyond the usual Tex-Mex fare.

Wow! We were incredibly impressed by our lunch experience today. This is NOT your run of the mill Tex Mex fare. Be prepared for an expansive menu full of authentic Mexican fare with highly creative presentations. Tucked in a non-descript retail store front, you’ll be pleasantly surprised as you walk in to the well designed restaurant. Every dish and drink is an experience in itself. I can’t recommend the Sonora Grill enough and will definitely be back whenever we travel to Dayton.
