This morning my wife & I enjoyed an amazing breakfast at Clem’s Kitchen. I devoured the outstanding homemade biscuits & gravy with an egg. My wife has fabulous apple bread pudding French toast, it was to die for! The ambience was warm & welcoming, and the staff is so friendly. Our waitress Brittany could brighten anyone’s day with her smile and charming personality! Be sure to have a meal at Clem’s Kitchen for a fantastic experience!

The Country Breakfast was amazing. The over-medium eggs were cooked perfectly, the buttermilk biscuit was large and delicious, and the signature potatoes were a delightful surprise. Our waitress was attentive and very kind, and I loved the historic setting coupled with the ’60s rock’ n roll music, and the indoor wishing well built in 1740 is a must-see! The price was also an added plus, as we left with a to-go box and felt very satisfied.

This place is so cool. Aside from the history of the Inn, the tavern and restaurant exceed expectations staff and menu wise. The food was delicious and they had several allergy free options. This was our first visit and we look forward to the next. Kudos all around!!!

This place is amazing. The food is top notch. The service is quick, and friendly. The atmosphere is classic, with a modern twist. The new management has kept the history of the place, while elevating the menu to new levels. It’s enough of the old, to keep it traditional, with enough of the new to keep it fresh. All local ingredients. The place is huge if you need an event venue. I can’t recommend this place enough. I will absolutely be back again.

Visiting the area and heard good things about Clem’s Kitchen so we decided to check it out. First of all the atmosphere was on point! Historic yet current. We sat at the bar, it’s a great way to meet people and learn about the area. We enjoyed fun, friendly conversations. Best of all had some delicious food & drinks! I highly recommend Clem’s Kitchen!

Second time last night dinning at Clem’s. It was another excellent experience. Warm and inviting environment. Friendly staff. Great menu. Very knowledgeable and accommodating for allergies. No published kids menu, but don’t let that deter you; the chef/owner came to the table personally and discussed what they could make (cheeseburger sliders were chosen). Portions were large and and very reasonably priced. Great variety of options on the menu. They’ve only been open for a couple of weeks. We have been extremely impressed and can’t wait to watch them grow.

Clem’s has resurrected the Wayside Inn! After years of awfulness, Clem’s Kitchen has transformed the Wayside Inn into a lovely place to eat. The food and bar are amazing, and service is friendly and efficient. We started with an Old Fashioned and a Blue Pig from the bar – what could be better than a drink with bacon? We had the trout dip with Route 11 chips, the prime rib and the crab cake dinners, and chocolate cake for dessert. Everything was delicious and well presented. It is so exciting to have such a high quality restaurant in this historic space! We plan to be regulars!

After multiple previous disappointments with the prior food management at the Wayside Inn, I am very happy to post the good news that Clem’s Kitchen is EXCEPTIONAL. Great service, excellent bar (with generous pours), and perfectly prepared food. The three course option was great (our party had the pork and the chicken). The Chef clearly knows his business because you can mess up BOTH chicken and pork easily. Great value also. We are most definitely going back and enthusiastically recommend you give them a try.
