This was one of the worst customer service experiences I have had at any Dunkin.
I walked in when there were no customers waiting. As I tried to place my order, the employee immediately started rushing me, cutting me off mid sentence, and not listening at all, even though there was absolutely no line. Instead of letting me finish my order like a normal customer, he just started making whatever he thought I said.
I asked for a mango refresher with lemonade and cold foam, and he made it wrong with oat milk instead of lemonade. His mistake. I let it slide.
Then came the latte. Again, he refused to let me finish speaking and started making it with regular milk. I stopped him and clearly told him I needed almond milk, which I PAY EXTRA FOR. I cannot have regular milk. This is not optional or a preference. The last time this same employee messed it up, it caused me stomach issues.
Instead of fixing it properly like a professional, he aggressively dumped almond milk into another cup, with a nasty attitude and disrespectful facial expressions. When I explained why this mattered, he started raising his voice and arguing with me over a mistake HE made.
At that point, yes, I got angry, because no customer should be treated like they are asking for a favor when they are paying for their order. Even when another customer walked in behind me, I still deserved to finish my order correctly instead of being rushed, dismissed, and disrespected.
This employee is consistently rude, hostile, and completely unfit for customer service. He does not listen, does not communicate, and becomes aggressive when corrected. That is unacceptable in any food service environment, especially when dietary restrictions are involved.
I strongly demand that the owner or manager review the camera footage from December 27 between 2:00 PM and 2:40 PM. Watch how customers are spoken to. Watch the attitude. Watch the mistakes and how they are handled.
This behavior needs immediate action. If this is how customers are treated, do not be surprised when people stop coming back.
customers who have never worked a service job in their life.
Such nice people and you can tell that this place gets taken care of!
Good to know there’s still friendly people out there even during the morning rush hour
