Due to nearby construction, this food truck is currently parked in front of the owner Dharshini’s house across the street and several houses to the west of the Google Maps marker. We called ahead to make sure she was open for dinner, and we’re glad we did, because we enjoyed a wonderful meal. My wife and I both had blackened fish, which was cooked and seasoned to perfection with a unique blend of sweet, salty, and spicy flavors (she can make the fish curry mild or hot). It’s quite different from Indian food, and it was absolutely delicious. We ate at a picnic table and enjoyed a long conversation with Dharshini because we were the last customers of the day. She showed us the authentic Sri Lankan spices she uses to give her food its wonderful flavors and talked about how she avoids processed ingredients in order to make her food healthier. We definitely recommend this place for a unique and memorable experience. It’s the only Sri Lankan restaurant in the state. Call ahead to make sure she’s open. She sometimes closes the ordering window to make sure no construction dust gets into her immaculate food truck kitchen. She also travels to some local events.

It’s so great to have another food option on the West bench. They’re so few choices and now there’s a delicious Sri Lanka food truck. I love how convenient it is to this neighborhood when you need lunch on the fly. The food is amazing, the service is great. I wish more people knew about it because I want them to succeed and stay at this location.

I had the pleasure of trying the SriLanka Food Truck recently, and it did not disappoint! The standout dish was the delicious fish served with fragrant yellow rice. The fish was perfectly cooked—tender on the inside with a flavorful, slightly crispy exterior. The yellow rice was aromatic and well-seasoned, pairing beautifully with the spices in the fish. Every bite had that authentic Sri Lankan flavor that’s hard to find.
