What a nice surprise! My friend and I were looking for a quick sandwich while out thrift shopping and discovered this little gem! The staff was friendly, the young blonde woman (from South Carolina ) at counter delivered great service and recommendations! She was a delight! They call this a bagel shop? What a complete joke. From the moment you walk in, you can tell there’s no pride in what they’re serving. The bagels are rubbery, over-salted, and cold — the exact opposite of what a real bagel should be. Instead of getting something fresh, hot, and worth the money, you’re handed a product that feels like it sat around until someone finally decided to shove it in a bag and pass it off as edible. The experience is just as bad as the food, with customer service that is robotic, fake, and totally dismissive, like they’re just going through the motions with zero care for the customer. I wouldn’t waste another dollar here, and I wouldn’t recommend this place to my worst enemy. There are plenty of spots where you can get an actual fresh bagel made with effort — this is not one of them. Total rip-off and a total disgrace to anyone who actually knows what a bagel should be.

Ordered an egg bagel with butter through DoorDash but I didn’t ask for it toasted. Now if I were in the South where they don’t do bagels and love butter, I’d have understood this monstrosity I received but nope… we are in BagelLandia aka New Jersey.
What was even worse though, and totally lived up to everything “Jersey” vibe, was the woman on the phone when you call there. I waited 3 mins the first call, 2 mins the 2nd and another 3 the last one for this woman to tell me, “If we are busy and you don’t ask for it toasted, we don’t bother to toast it.” So you just told me that you guys don’t care about quality when you’re busy. Her tone, her attitude and everything about her was the epitome of rude, old NJ woman.
What was even more disappointing is that the sweetest older gentleman dropped off menus in our office and said, “Hey! We noticed you guys have ordered a few times and we wanted to let you know we will deliver to you.” I tried to call, got that Jersey devil and ordered online because of her.

Ordered a pork roll egg and cheese with salt pepper and ketchup that was good but almost no ketchup. Ordered 2 cinnamon raisin bagels with butter and was asked if I wanted them toasted, I said no but they were toasted when I got home.
I know it was a busy Sunday but details are important.
Liked it better when Don and crew were running it, they paid attention to those details

Like the setting. Wanted to try it after reading they have made-on-premise bagels. The bagel was good, but I’ve had better. The egg had a bit of oily taste to it. Bathroom is not open to public-so if you come before other stores in area aren’t open you are out of luck. You can use a credit card now with no minimum limit. Don’t think I’ll be back, but appreciate it is a locally run shop.
