First of all, I want to apologize for leaving a negative review. I usually avoid writing bad reviews unless it’s absolutely necessary. If you check my profile, you’ll see that I rarely do this. However, I’ve heard several negative comments about this business (from other locations, not this one), and unfortunately, my experience aligns with them.
I visited this location to try the lunchbox they advertise for $9.99. It looked appealing in the advertisement, and I was hopeful. I have no complaints about the cleanliness, the location, or the staff—the employees were genuinely friendly and welcoming.
However, the real issue was the food. The lunchbox I received was honestly disappointing. It felt like it was made from leftovers—the curries were nearly empty, and what I got was mostly just gravy with little to no meat or vegetables. I had selected the items myself, but it didn’t seem to matter.
Many people walk 10–15 minutes from their workplace in downtown to get lunch here. When the food served is of such poor quality, it feels like a waste of time and money. If you’re unable to offer decent portions or fresh food at this price point, it might be better to either improve the quality or reconsider the offering entirely.
That said, I do wish the best for the business and its staff, and I hope they take this feedback constructively. Good luck to you all.

Overall, it was a great experience. It was an amazing sit-down or grab-and-go experience. Dining included high-quality cutlery and fancy dishes. Portion sizes were generous. The spice levels were very accurate for spicy lovers and mild murraders alike. And the staff is very friendly and informative if you have questions or need a step in the right direction.

The food was heavenly, as usual. Ms. Oli made the mint sauce herself. Loved it!! I had a lot of requests and she was very patient and sweet as pie. This place is in the heart of downtown and the vibe was so relaxing yet fun. I ordered carry out from Noorjahan Indian Cuisine in downtown Detroit on a Wednesday afternoon. I used their very thorough and convenient online system and my meal was ready when I arrived and absolutely delicious. I highly recommend the garlic cheese naan with riata sauce. It’s wonderful! Medium spice was perfect on my chicken too.

I recently tried the lunch box from this place, and it was absolutely amazing! It came with two delicious dishes alongside perfectly cooked rice. I also got garlic naan on the side, which was a delightful addition. The naan was flavorful, buttery, and just the right amount of garlic. The service was excellent—attentive and quick. I have had a worst experience there, here are my observations-
1) Floors and tables are sticky, it seems it has not been cleaned on a daily basis.
2) I have ordered dal tadka and aloo paratha but the parathas was not cooked properly, it was partially cooked, so we ordered roti but it also came partially cooked, dal tadka should come with gravy but it was dry and I have never seen dry dal tadka before like this. I have uploaded some pictures here,
I will never go to this restaurant again.

I was heading to another place to eat but they were closed. So, I tried here.
Food:
The food was good I had their lunch special for $10. It has rice, salad, lamb curry, and vegetable curry. All of it was good and hot. The only thing was the salad was more onions, tomatoes, and cucumbers than lettuce. Other than that it was good.
Service:
The service wasn’t bad but the person at the register spoke really fast. I couldn’t grasp what she stated the first time. So, I stumbled through the menu while piecing together the lunch box.
Atmosphere:
I didn’t eat in but overall the place was clean.

This was a great spot to do work and eat some amazing food. I had tiki masala and curry chicken with some rice, naan bread, gulab and 4 veggie samosas. Let me tell you, this was a party in my mouth in the service was absolutely amazing.
