I got to visit Sala Thai this weekend. I ordered sweet and sour fried fish and #37 noddles. The fish was great. I came in with a group of 9 and the staff were able to accommodate us all. After we ate, we sat and talked and did some more talking. The staff did not kicked us out. That was wonderful.

Food is awesome here. But staff is very rude here. I have been there 4 times and every time i have had bad experience with the staff. Soo rude.

Had the crispy fish with garlic sauce per a friends suggestion. Delicious decision for sure. Will return to try other plates. Place filled up quick for 7pm on a Tuesday. Placed order, food came out quick and was very hot, then the check came just as I was finishing. Couldn’t have asked for better service.

This medium sized hole in the wall is fantastic. It’s in a weird spot, well at least at night it’s weird and dark and creepy outside, but it’s nice enough inside. Not modern or anything, kind of plain, but you are here for the really good food. And, really good prices.

When we arrived we were surprised at how busy they were, but after getting such good food for such a great price we knew why.

Arrived at this location by accident – meant to go to Sala Thai 2. This location was further away but for my first time, my friend and I were stuffed after only sharing two dishes. We had the crab fried rice and sweet fried fish dish and absolutely loved both! We will definitely return but now want to try out the second location before we come back to this location.

Very quaint and quiet location that seems very far from everything else. Yet it adds to the charm. The décor is something to behold because it feels very Asian and vintage. Something about walking through the doors and you feel like you’re in Thailand. Highly recommend the crispy fish with garlic. Everything else is good but that is an absolute must!

Very impressed with the Thai food, and how quickly it was prepared. Had take out and waited less than ten minutes after ordering. Had a duck noodle soup and a duck pad kee mao. Very tasty and cost about $24 for the two dishes. This will definitely be my new local Thai place for takeout.

One of the best Thai restaurant I have been to in Bay Area. There is another sala Thai 2 not far away from this location. Both of them are pretty good. The garlic fried fish there is must-order every time we go.

I came to this restaurant and it was always packed. That’s always a good sign. Fortunately I always have my orders for takeout. I usually orders their pad thai, pad see ew, and sometimes their mango with sticky rice for dessert. All good, no complaints here. If you live in Fremont area and craving for some good Thai food, this is your best bet. I heard their duck noodle soup is also very good. I will need to try that out sometime, but will need to find out when they’re not busy. Not a big fan of having soupy meals for takeaway :O
