Nice place, very clean and super nice staff. All the beers we tried were quite tasty and pleasant. We had a couple small food items that were very good, wish we would have had some more of the BBQ because everything we saw looked and smelled awesome! They have a big smoker outside that was rolling amazing aromas everywhere.

Stopped in quick on the way home to Nebraska. Awesome place, awesome bartenders! Dog friendly. We had the bison sausage and baked beans and oh my goodness. My favorite meal on our week long vacation. Banana stout was awesome. Yummy! Don’t miss this place on your way through. Well worth the stop!!

I’m rather picky about BBQ but was pleasantly surprised that this little mountain brewery could produce such moist, flavorful pulled pork. Delicious, great spot for any group!

We didn’t order food so we cannot comment on this, however we certainly can comment on their brew menus and their very dog friendly hospitality!..the beer menu is very ample with IPAs to red layers and wheat selections! Very hospitable staff in both Breckenridge and Fairplay! The beer menus are identical! Breckenridge is the older location of the 2 locations. Staff more than welcome behaved K9 friends in as some of the staff have their own K9 greeters t l welcome you in. Both locations are clean, great menus for food even though we did not choose to eat. The hospitality is so welcome, the bartenders as time allowed, are very friendly and willing to share life stories and more than give you a welcome feeling! Very highly recommended as a quick stop and as well as a place to grab some fresh cooked food as the menu was full of good choices.

Holy crap. Too expensive. No brisket sandwich but they’ll sell 1/2 lb of brisket for $23.99. Sides are $5.99. And you eat off a 5×7 inch tray. Meat was tender but no flavor. Potato salad was good. Cole slaw was interesting.

Went after a large local event. While the place was packed, we were able to get our food faster than expected. After some time in the sun, the cool air inside was great! An assortment of both indoor and outdoor games. Large selection of different beers, which I’m sure were good but don’t drink. The food was delicious and a decent price. The baked potato was yummy and the skin was clean and a bit crispy perfect for those who enjoy eating the potato skin. Dog friendly with outdoor seating. My only wish is that there was more shaded seating. Service was friendly and prompt, food was tasty and filling. We will be back again for sure!

Stopped by Highside on our way to Gunnison. They were just out if brisket when we arrived so we ended up ordering brisket tacos and ribs instead. You should order first and then seat. The food came out quickly and was very tasty.

We go there at 6pm and the BBQ was a bit dry (but came off the bone easy) and potato a bit hard. If you’re into IPAs this is your place, I’m towards the nonhoppy side. The kolsch was hoppier and the hefeweizen was on the cloveier side, not my jam but not bad. The stout and dunked though were very nice and subtle, not like the punch you usually get from those.

The interior was nice, large and cozy at the same time. Very clean and awesome staff, so polite and friendly.

Overall check it out for a flight at least and enjoy the spacious but cozy venue

Since the old brewery closed down, we checked this place out. The man that worked the bar said they had been open for 3 years. The walk up to the entrance was greeted by an out door, commercial grade smoke box. There was an operator putting large quantities of meats on.

When we entered through the threshold, and we’re standing within, inside we were suprised to see beautiful high ceilings, clean wood floors and tons of arcade games. Also, there is a free pool table.

Last but not least, the food is great. So fresh. BBQ… brisket, pulled pork, and mac n cheese. So many more options to name. My friends tried the beers and said they were nice too.

Check it out.

Great beer and horrible food. The beer is excellent with wide variety of options. My rating is for the beer only!! Tried several and all were very good. Hazy iPA was my favorite. The BBQ was a waste of $45. Brisket and burnt ends were hours under smoked and lacked flavor. Brisket you couldn’t cut with a knife was like shoe leather to eat and the burnt ends were either all fat or if it had meat they were very tough meat. Bring in your own food to enjoy with the excellent beer.
